Hello house Please I need advise. I and my wife intend to have our next baby in d U.S. we are yet to apply for visa. My question is,should I include my other kids(2 kids) in d application? I want them to be there when the baby arrives, yet I don't want the VO to think that we want to elope ( a friend's similar experience informs my being skeptical) Thanks |

blueblood1: Congrats Blueblood1. Its not an issue for your wife to take the two kids with her but the issue will be if she is going alone with 2 Kids how will she manage with them alone considering a third is on the way. So i would advice you all apply as a family with your wife particularly applying for a Medical Visa and the rest of you normal tourist Visa. And in your Visa Interview preparation ensure you are well prepared for possibility of been asked how your wife will cope with both kids if sheis travelling alone along withyour burden of proof and all. Success |

blueblood1: The issue here is your ties to home country. If you, wife and 2 children are applying (whole family i guess) what ties do you guys have that can convince the visa officer that you are not eloping to America? Put yourself in the vo's position. Do you and your wife have solid jobs or good investments in Nigeria that it would look foolish to abandon to go and start afresh in America? If you stay back to act as tie and your wife and 2 kids apply, who will look after her and 3 children after birth? These are issues you should consider. |

sanddieo: You can start your application for renewal anytime from now, most likely you'll get an interview date in October if you start now. |

doyinwbaby: Your staying 7 days instead of 10 days shouldn't raise any issues, most likely you'll be stamped in for 6 months. With regards to the flight issue,It all depends on you. I would advice you get a direct flight if the price difference is not too much,on the other hand,if it's much, you can just fly to IAD and take uber or lyft to Baltimore.. 1 Like |

Good evening brodas & sis, mama's & papa's God bless you all for your support and contribution here, You all have been a life saver. Well i have been a silent reader for a while and gaining more knowledge on dis missionary trip...Its now my turn as d clock ticks. My wify is 19wks gone now, av gotten my hospital & doc correspondence.. am set to apply for b2 visa for her but av some little issues i need to be clear about. (1) My wify passport still av her father's name as surname, she av travel history. Now she will be applying alone though & am wondry if dat will not b an issue @ d V.O since is not my surname @ her passport or she should get a new passport on my surname. (2) I want to wait as part of home ties & after she gets her visa den travel to US, pay for hospital & doc fee.. will luv to apply b4 her delivery date...If am applying should i apply for "b2 visa or as tourist visa" Thank u all as i wait for a positive response..? |

harry73: Your wife can still apply with her old passport, but she should go with supporting documents to show that she's married,a lot of people have done so here and gotten their visas. Apply for a tourist visa after she's a gone and tell them you want to go and witnesses the birth of your child? |

hello congratulations to you and your wife...The name on her passport shouldnt be an issue, when going for the interview she should take along her marriage certificate this will be prove that she is indeed married to you. However if the passport will expire soon then u might aswell get a new passport just to make things a bit more tidy... harry73: |

[quote author=mideyola post=60222353]Good morning Kindly help with the all the fee details and any your doctors contact. Thank you Hi Mideyola. Sorry i just saw this now. Doctor was The Women Group, South Tampa and was charged $3250. Had my daughter at St Joseph's women hospital Tampa and bill was 3300. I also had other associated costs like lab fees, rhogam shots etc (this should depend on your gestational age). Baby's Paediatrician was dr Stephen A Williams. He charged $250 for hospital visits and $70 for subsequent visits. You can get thier contact info online.... lmk if you require further information. |

blueblood1:abujaNIV watching. Abscond is the word. To answer tour question, it all depends on your tie(s) and financial capability. I got a visa with wife for birthing. I later took my kids for their interview so they can join us. There was really no transcript except that the VO scan my passport and read the precious VO's note. Then she made this comment "if they over stay their visa, you will be implicated". I don't know our strong my ties are but we are all back in Naija. |
