Danielnino00: Did you watch Leon Balogun's interview? He never said that he would not play for Nigeria, he said the decision would have been harder. That is a honest statement. With Germany, you are likely to win big titles, ofcourse it will be a hard decision. These guys of dual nationalities also love their other countries. Leon Balogun will support Germany when they are playing. The advantage of foreign born players is the foundation not the talent. Very few Nigerian born players have proper foundational grooming. 1 Like |

eterisan: Doesn't matter how much experience you have as a LB and or LWB. If you loose pace you are more or less finished. Echiejile has lost pace badly, what is worrying it's not a secret. I can assure you Zambia will be looking to take advantage of our weak link. Echiejile Left Braga to Monaco and didnt really cut it has been on few loans and now he has left the top leagues for Turkey. I am sorry it's not progress but diminishing ability. Consider his age only 29 and he is loosing form and ability rapidly. He is now a clear liability no offence just the reality. You are only a rookie once. The term is deceptive when someone has been playing and training in a top league in a top team. Can you really call them a rookie because they come to the SE. Currently I would rather have Aina irrespective of the fact that he is not a traditional left back than Echiejile. Tyrone is no where near the level of Aina for me he is not an option. 1 Like |

Nigeria Hoping For Breakthrough In Talks With German-Nigerian Left Back Torunarigha The hierarchy of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are hoping they will be able to push German-Nigerian left full back Jordan Torunarigha to switch allegiance from Germany to Nigeria. Torunarigha is a full fledged youth international for Germany, where he was given birth to parents of Nigerian descent with his father Ojokojo starring for Shooting Stars in the mid 80’s. Although his father ruled out a possible switch to Nigeria earlier this year, when he confirmed he has been contacted by Nigeria. The NFF are hoping renewed talks will convince the father of the 19 year old to switch allegiance. Further talks are planned for December when Nigeria would have secured qualification for the World Cup 2018 in Russia if they are able to beat Zambia in October. Already two players born in Germany namely Leon Balogun and Noh Joel Sarenren Bazee have pledged to pursue a senior international career with Nigeria, although they both didn’t play for Germany at youth level unlike Torunarigha. **Ade Emmanuel Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/09/09/nigeria-hoping-for-breakthrough-in-talks-with-german-nigerian-left-back-torunarigha/ 2 Likes |

NTA is actually showing the El Kanemi MFM game live rn. I think the commentator is trying but I don't understand what type of accent he is trying to use. 'Back' is now 'berk', etc. Overall I don't think it's too bad. Quality and Commentary need improvement 2 Likes |

Leicester City looked better with Iheanacho on. He showed nice work rate. Helped win balls. Had some good touches and made nice runs. I hope Shakespeare gives him more game time. The team needs Iheanacho more than they need him. Nacho should watch his weight. It seems the club is bulking him up but he is looking too heavy to fit the kind of role that made him a big hit. Nacho looks like if he is not fit and he seemed battling with pains. I think this is due to the weight gain and bulking up. Same problem I think Success is having. |

Yep.... but be a little fair to him... his team got the hardest of fixtures to start a season... Arsenal (top 6), Brighton, Manchester Utd (another top 6), Chelsea (top 6).... and they still got more hell coming in David Wagner's Huddersfield (I think Leicester can Nick that) and ofcos another top 6 in Liverpool.... after facing same Liverpool in the league cup... To be frank, I expect Leicester to be on at least six points after week 7.... after week 7, Leicester would finished facing some of the big boys of the EPL... and start hitting points into the board. So I don't think Shakes is in danger just yet... if he fails to get points against the teams outside the top 6 after week 6-7... then wahala dey. TheGoodJoe: 1 Like |

To be honest.... I don't know why some are kinda panicking over Nacho's gametime for now... It is clear he is top quality and will bring lovely depth and solid packages to the Leicester team in attack but he needs to be up there in terms of his fitness levels. I believe they are taking their time with him and have been doing so since week 1 because of that toe... he does seem to have shaken that off and even scored on international duty but thing is, His fitness level isn't at 90%-100% yet... he missed a whole preseason period and played just 17 mins against Mochengladbach and picked up that toe injury... since then, Leicester have been careful with their prized asset as they worked hard to help him recover from the toe setback as well as Still working on his overall physical conditioning and fitness level. So for me... I say give Nacho this month... he will keep getting his cameos for maybe a few more weeks like 2-3 more... after which I believe the best of Nacho will be ready to be unleashed from the start. So Lads and Lasses plsss chill... Nacho is highly needed in The Leicester team. They need his quality and they know it and that is why they wanna take things easy with him for the long-term benefits of seeing a real player shine for them. Even Shakes said something like.... "When Nacho is 100% fit and physically eager to have a go from the start, then we will see a real player... we know what he brings" TheGoodJoe: |
