Abi ooo. Most of those players just wanna use Nigeria as a dumping ground.. Leon Balogun said in his recent interview that he would not have agreed to play for Nigeria if Germany had approached him first..
The NFF should channel more money and energy into developing our home grown talents rather than chasing foreign born players..
We nerd players who aren't just talented but also dedicated to the national team..

Opari(in sir Icon79 voice )
They want to play world cup not qualifier

Do I have any reason to feel vindicated? I've always advocated for us mastering different formations, and I've been a preacher of dynamism.
Someone is reading Rohr's mind. And I once told you there is nothing wrong with packing the bus sometimes as a strategy to winning games.

Still not my style but I respect the manager's choice. He wants different style of play to make the team easy to adapt to different approaches of other teams and also make the Super Eagles unpredictable.

I am more of a Pellegrini person. Master a system and be a master of it.

Now, we're talking.

Dominic Iorfa is one of the best option for the CB slot. I have seen him play in that position for Wolves and he performed wonderfully well.

His father wants him to play for Nigeria and NFF should quickly do something about it fast.

He has decided to play for Nigeria. grin

Well Rohr won't be Pellegrini. It's an unrealistic expectation you know. But anyways at least we all now know where Rohr is coming from, and hopefully we will understand his future decisions. And let's hope that it all goes well

Nigeria Hoping For Breakthrough In Talks With German-Nigerian Left Back Torunarigha

The hierarchy of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are hoping they will be able to push German-Nigerian left full back Jordan Torunarigha to switch allegiance from Germany to Nigeria.

Torunarigha is a full fledged youth international for Germany, where he was given birth to parents of Nigerian descent with his father Ojokojo starring for Shooting Stars in the mid 80’s.
Although his father ruled out a possible switch to Nigeria earlier this year, when he confirmed he has been contacted by Nigeria.

The NFF are hoping renewed talks will convince the father of the 19 year old to switch allegiance.

Further talks are planned for December when Nigeria would have secured qualification for the World Cup 2018 in Russia if they are able to beat Zambia in October.

Already two players born in Germany namely Leon Balogun and Noh Joel Sarenren Bazee have pledged to pursue a senior international career with Nigeria, although they both didn’t play for Germany at youth level unlike Torunarigha.

He started as a RB anyway but at the tale end of last season, he was tried as a CB because one their defender out due to injury and he played well

Pep Guardiola switches his style a lot. He plays a possession-heavy style always when it comes to strategy but he switches his attacking style. From a tactical perspective, the team hardly pierces its opponents the same way. Some days attacking with wide forwards. Other days the width comes from the full backs. Some days three at the back. Another two at the back. Today we switched from a three to two in the same game.

I feel it is too complicated but I respect Pep's style of play. Pellegrini to me is just the right balance.

As soon as the Stoke players left the ball on the right wing, I just knew goal. SMH.
