Sarassin: Now you are getting my points. Energy remains neutral, mind regulates the flow, and humans can choose how they use the energy. If they choose to create a negative or positive use for it, does not mean there is a positive or negative path in nature. And there is no totally negative or positive entities, but the ego built around these poles. When a man says, there is no God, he is right. Cos he is an aspect of God and can choose to deny itself. When a man says there is God, he is also right for affirming the core of his existence and whatever he/she does with such ideologies is totally up to him. Morality is an ego construct since spirit exists. Existence is eternal but living is temporal. One can only but perish the body but self continues. That is why the Universe bothers not, cos in the end, life is a zero sum game and energy can not be created nor destroyed. QED 11 Likes 3 Shares |

So, Here is an initiatory story of mine just to relieve the monotony. I have been an initiate and adherent of the Hermetic Mystical system for many years, I am also a follower of the Divine path of Tantra, in the early 2000’s I travelled to Sri Lanka to complete the initiatory rites a Tantric Yogi had generously agreed to perform for me. It was the giving of Deeksha. I stayed at his home for a few days and at the appointed time together with a friend of the Yogi we set off for a location undisclosed to me. Half an hour into our walk the Yogi turned to me and simply stated that he was not able to carry out the initiation. I was crushed, in a panic and completely flabbergasted, I asked why? He replied that it simply didn’t feel right he hadn’t known me long enough to vouch for my attitude, he said were he to change his mind and carry out the rite I had to perform a task, I replied that I was prepared to do anything. He informed me that my task was to experience a moment of pure ecstasy, I was aghast! I mean I was five and a half thousand miles from home no woman in tow, was I to consort with women of leisure, I asked him? He and his companion began to laugh, they laughed so hard tears were rolling down their cheeks. But the joke was on me, they informed me I was to remove all my clothing on the spot and to begin to chant a mantra they would give me until I experienced ecstasy and then and only then when they were satisfied would they be prepared to perform the ritual for me, else I could just go home. I looked to see if there were any traces of humour on their faces, not a jot, I hadn’t gone so far to go back home empty handed, slowly I removed my clothes he handed me a piece of paper and I began to chant naked at the side of the road. I whipped myself into a frenzy chanting and found ecstasy, I was shouting, crying, screaming and laughing all at the same time, bonkers and stark naked on the streets, it was the most liberating thing I have ever done. When it was all over I found a small crowd had gathered nearby but curiously they looked mildly appreciative, of a brown stranger who had come to learn their ways. A robe was thrown around my shoulders and as I was led away (my clothes were missing) I said to the yogi, that was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life and would he now just complete the initiation, both men again burst into hard laugher, as he said…you just got initiated. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Sarassin:Hello dear friend, I have been deeply touched by the thread and the narrative of your initiation into the blessing (of oneness). I wish to raise a few points on the issue of left, right and middle paths. It has been my understanding that the real frontier between the left and right paths is to be found in the approach to the divine. At the fundamental point, left path practitioners are looking for self deification while their counterparts on the right side wish to "merge" with and be "dissolved into" the divine (ecosystem). That to me has been the simplest way to distinguish between both groups. In other words, the left path builds ego as sovereign and final while the right destroys it. In this perspective, the middle path would be an attempt to achieve equilibrium between two extremes, whereby an initiate is "good" (not in moral terms) to that which is good in nature, but cruel and fierce in the face of "evil". Is there any truth in this view of things? Aside Tantra which according to me, is the shortest path to enlightenment when one wishes not to abandon a modern lifestyle, I am most admirative of the philosophy and wisdom of the thrice greatest. Recently a collection of great books pertaining this school of thought just located me quite unexplicably. We shall certainely discuss that privately, but after reading a few of the books, I realised how much modern esoteric thought owes to Him. 3 Likes 1 Share |

LoJ: Hello LoJ good to read your post. In essence yes. I have taken a blunt object approach in tackling the matter from the aspects of methodology and mechanics you have kindly given a more elegant description of the paths and their ultimate aims. LoJ: Indeed. LoJ:I was coming to that in my next post but you have probably explained it in much better terms.I agree 100%. |

So, I made a comment a few posts back about the healing practice of laying of hands, another poster full of faux self-righteous indignation took issue with it. In this case, the ‘laying of hands’ referred to in my post is not the biblical version (One would think that would be obvious on a thread like this) it refers to the practice of the exchange of energy, or 'Chi' or 'Pran' the practice is alive and well today in the way I described as the ancient method of Reiki healing. 1 Like 1 Share |

Sarassin: Mention me boldly next time oga. I dey fear you? Someone already offered you his full names, location and all what not you asked for so you can tell him his date of death.... So how far that one? The ancient method of exchange of energy indeed. Why would I want to settle for something that would make me take on the illness even if it is temporarily and leave the one that would not even allow the sickness come upon me whether deliberately or not. Why settle for the lesser when the more valuable is available? Keep on deceiving yourself. Anyway you seem to have a lot of atheists who enjoy the groove you are playing. Na dem only fit subscribe to Satanism anyway The devil ALWAYS wants to make a counterfeit of what God has so I am not surprised. I am also not surprised that atheists subscribe to this Afterall no more God now means freedom to embrace everything that is anti God including Satanism. 3 Likes |

Mr Sarassin i please implore you to ignore and give no energy to the negative entities trying to distract under the guise of "righteous indignation". Let those who want to learn be taught....except as I suspect on the other hand you're trying to stylishly teach them since they are stylishly trying to learn, albeit through negative methods. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Onwards and upwards we go. In the Hermetic Mystical Order based on the works of the 'Thrice Greatest' of which I have been an adherent we are presented with a view of reality consisting of various layers emanating from the highest and most subtle divine realms to the most dense and material world that we experience every day. The movement from the subtle to the material is not really a system of different and distinct layers it is actually a seamless change. For the sake of simplicity for now I will limit these to three distinct levels even though there are myriads of sub-levels, they represent layers of the external world as we know it but more importantly they also represent layers of the self. The higher you go, the more subtle the realm. I wish to take a look at each of these realms, their importance to the ordinary person and how they are utilised by practitioners of the three paths previously described. 2 Likes 1 Share |

None of diz even matter, wat we are all here arguing over....If an atheist is condemned or going 2 hell, is it ur hell? If a theist tinks a "sky daddy" is their only hope, let dem be aswell... We shud be able 2 ve civilized conversations with others and respect their opinions, social/moral millitancy wud only wear u out. As if life isnt doing dat already u wanna add diz one |

The highest level is of course the Divine Realm. It is best described both by what it is and what it is not, it is the abode of the Godkings, they exist here in their highest and most universally transcendent nature. This realm is beyond the classic religious and mythic accounts of the pantheon of gods and angels rebelling one against the other. It is the preserve of primal causal forces, the perfection of perfection, it is an incorruptible realm even access to this realm is perfection. Human awareness, through the mind manifests and glimpses this realm as the gnosis of singularity during extraordinarily deep meditative practice as primordial unencumbered awareness. In all honesty we need not talk too much about this realm. |
