If Pogba finds himself in Madrid, he can never replicate Kroos' output. His showboating won't allow him.

Last season, Kroos' 12 assists in La Liga left him second only to Luis Suarez, a forward, and his rate of 2.8 key passes per match was similarly second, only to Neymar.

What has Pogba got to offer?

A CM should know when to slide open-play passes around to his mates in key areas. Should know when to dictate the pass of the game. Should know when to break up play and retain possession.
