Thanks for your reply.How do i check where my visa office is ?Yes last year in London before i returned to naiaj i was refused an extension of my UK student visa as my extension purpose was not covered in the provision for Tier 4.I think i'm in IP2,as i only have medicals passed
Yewwygraceful:
Hi Ray78, what is your status, NA2 or 1P2?

Have you been refused a visa before? Where is your Visa Office? I am asking these questions because London Visa Office sometimes requests for Schedule A for applicants who have previously been refused visas and before they issue PPRs to such applicants.

Irrespective of the reason, it is not a bad thing and Schedule A can be asked for at any stage of the application, usually to clear an area. For example, reason for a visa refusal or explanations for gaps in personal history. Just fill the form and submit, no problems.

Are you sure all is well with your application? Have you tried getting in touch with IQAS? Even if processing time was 9 weeks when you applied, you should have received your ECA by now.

Update: ECA received.

I recently requested for my fbi police certificate which took them almost 3 months to process and mailed out to a usa address.unfortunately i am yet to receive this in the mail due to hurricane and flooding crisis in the usa state(usps stopped delivery for over a week,full postal operations just started sept 4th).although post delivery has commence but i am still yet to receive it.

I have asked fbi to send me a copy to a new usa address,which hasnt been reposted yet.

My question is i have exceeded the 30days given by cic as well as the additional 60days grace to submit this fbi report.

I have emailed cic 2 seperate times asking for more time and no response from them.

What is the best step to take?

I am thinking of printing out all my email correspondence with fbi and sending to accra via courier.

In some cases, a LOE is acceptable with supporting information showing you tried to get one. I think this case is one of such. If your deadline is near and you have no other choice, please write a LOE and attach as many docs as you can, including info that it's ready but can't be shipped because of the deluge in the US. Check here to read more about this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

You should take them to court. i have read other similar cases like yours and the applicant won the case with ppr

You don't have to take them to court.
Please let CIC know that you didnt receive any of such mail and that you are still interested in your FSW 2014. They will definitely open it.

It happened to someone I know and he's about getting his Manitoba PPR now.

Hello,
My husband and I have tried to get into Canada through the FSW program (he has a good job), but our CRP points never make it through the cut off point.
Someone is trying to convince us to get a Canadian tourist visa, get into Canada and work out PR from the inside. Personally it sounds risky to me.
Does anyone know someone who has done this before?
Is this possible
Thanks in advance.

Give a little more time, you'd be able to view (download). The mail says 15mins after receipt, in my ecstatic self, I didn't wait the 15mins! I actually didn't see I was to wait 15mins, only read ECA is ready. I just went straight to my WES profile and hit the view button. Then I began to panic like after 30min thing was still giving me the error massage, I thought did I cause it by not waiting the stipulated 15min. I realized there was no problem when like an hour later I couldn't view my wife's either.

I was able to download both much later in the day. Just give a bit more time. You'd have it.

This suggestion by somebody is a no-no. It will land you in trouble waters. What's your (or your husband's) CRS score? What is your age and that of your husband and what are your IELTS scores? With these information, I will be able to advise. But, going to Canada on visiting or tourist visa and going against the provisions of such visa may lead you to indefinite ban. Be wise and follow the right channel.

Send a mail to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and provide the below details to enquire about your visa office:

· Surname and Given name(s);

· Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);

· Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number;

· Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident);

What does your background check say: We are processing your background check or your application is in progress. If it is the first, it is IP2 but if it is the second IP1.

I submitted just newspaper publication and marriage certificate. I never did an affidavit. I just saw here that it may be necessary. Oh well, I have submitted already.

You can make the payment in most of the bank through remita

15k? on the portal i saw 10k for transcript verification and another 10k for certificate verification. I paid only for transcript verification sha, did you need to also pay for certificate verification?pls, how long did it take UNN to send it?

If I get your question right, you are asking to know if he should apply alone or not.
He can't apply as single if he is legally married to you, neither can you do so, you are married. Either of you can be the principal applicant(depending on your profile) and the other will be part of the application as an accompanying or non-accompanying spouse/dependant. Being married or single does not affect your chances of success.
Read page 0 of this thread for general overview.
