I guess its time for them yo face the music. I hope KANU will be there to take some bullets for his sycophants and unrepentant followers. Buh one tin am sure of. Who no come no go know. The innocent will die most and KANU and his family will be some wia biting a ripe delicious chicken. Let the blood flow. Finally we've got to see action.

just like how the government have annihilated Niger Delta militant and BokoHaram? The thing is you think military intimidation is stronger than ideology that is false Bro!!! Biafra is an ideology you can intimidate it with bullets you can resist it with bullets but you can't kill it with bullets. Evey young child in Aba will never forget yesterday. As we breed, Biafra breeds with us. Even if Nnamdi Kanu fails, My sons and their sons will continue the struggle...in another century there will still be the problem of Biafra until the dream is achieved!
Every 50 years, some of those children will be killed for nothing just like it happened in 1967 and you want it to repeat again. Biafra can never be achieved with this mindset of yours

The python has not even started dancing yet...lol

you know this is the funniest thing. the army hasnt even started yet , they are still doing rehearsals and Igbos are shouting and crying all over . lets just pray that they come to their normal senses and start behaving normal, because if the army decides to go full force against them , they will really regret ever shouting ipob . if you want to break away from a nation like nigeria , you cant do it by force, dialogue is the best option.

Well, I only feel pity for those who aren't IPOB miscreants.

Igbos have been reduced to nothing in Nigeria and it pains them a lot.

Before, they had Eastern region where they dominated other minority tribes, doing anyhow they like. But now, everyone has geopolitical zone in terms of allowance and resource control.
Igbos have nothing to control or brag about.. if Nigeria is restructured today, they will suffer most and possibly die of hunger. Why they want to die on attache by force, we SS & SE and form biafra (replica of the old Eastern region where they can dominate).

They know what awaits them.. don't look at them as dull

This thread was supposed to keep people abreast of the situation in abia, why dont yorubas and hausas stay away from this thread so that we can get accurate situation there. I dont know wen kids here will grow up. for those derailing the thread must everything be tribal bashing, why dont people know wen u sheath their tribal swords. I suggest even Igbos not in the state should keep quiet. information is power

Pls someone in the north should open a thread because something must go on there. Let nairaland for once be a source of safety directions for people.. let people stop this madness

Nnamdi Kanu called for this since the very day he launched the Biafra Secret Service.

By this time next month, the whole noise and agitations will be over. The Nigerian Army has performed similar stunts in all the 36 states of the Federation. It won't end in Abia.

Regardless of the security situation in the state, what the army is doing - the so called Egwu eke - is unconstitutional.

The police hasn't declared that the situation is beyond their control, neither has IPOB launched an armed insurrection against the Nigerian State. So, I see no need for a shoki or python dance by the army.

We just pray that normalcy will return to the great state of Abia.

Do you really believe what you are saying

Nnamdi has been advocating violence set up a militant group has declared elections legitimate banned. threatening he'll fire and brimstone.

What do you expect the army to come and distribute ice cream cones and say. WELL DONE.

Please wake up from your delusional state. Your action proactively invited the army into Abia.

It's not an invasion but a DETERRENT show if force.

I wouldn't know if it's constitutional, neither do I know what declaration has been made by the Nigerian Police. The IPOB wouldn't dare launch an attack, they'll only go about their hate speech and protest whenever they deem it necessary.

Great state indeed.

Wen ever the chicken livered army starts a civil war is wen u will come to realize that nigeria does not have a standing army. So u think Igbos will remain in that army to fight their very own family? so u think the Yoruba n Hausa will remain in the army to fight an internal war?

E go clear for ur eye soon.

why do you often think billions brings satisfaction? The amount of money used in procuring arms when tompolo et Al were in the creeks would make him a billionaire for life...you don't even know how much an an Ak 47 cost? During the active action of militants an Ak 47 was cost 427 usd on high sea black market and m16 was 532 usd. Militants possessed as + Rpgs...you know nothing if you think tompolo was a pauper back then

please we have a serious issue at hand, i have been awake following updates here but it looks like people are derailing this thread with all sorts of tribal bashings. A lot of people are looking up to this forum to decide their next move. my humble opinion is this, if its possible to open a new thread for only people who have valuable information alone to come up with it while unnecessary threads deleted. This issues is beyond ipob afonja apc pdp buhari kanu ojukwu awolowo etc that we see here everyday. The mods should please do something.

Please my people, war is not good.. War is never a friend of anybody.. Lets take a look at Syria, lets take a look at Sudan.... May God have mercy on Nigeria.

Those miscreants were proud and some of them came to nairaland to jubilate then

if these biafrans started their agitation on the right path and method, they would have had the support of other tribes and international community.
but they shot themselves in the foot with their hate speeches and empty chestbeating, no one wants to be associated with them.
you guys brought the drums ,now dance to the music.
sorry to the innocent ones this will affect.
Did they also engage in Chest beating in the 60s? Look,as long as Igbos have some oil under the soil and are integral contributors to Nigerian economy,Nigeria and her imperialistic masters wouldn't let them go.
I've seen all sorts of hate speeches and bitterness directed at Igbos not Igbos because they want to abandon One Nigeria.
