I know you're not desperate, it doesn't seem like someone with your profile will be. Preparing your itinerary on paper is one thing; talking a VO through your plans convincingly is another.

In a visa application, there's no too much information. What is required is the right information presented truthfully and convincing enough. If you're going to New York for vacation like you stated, you should enthusiastically talk about such proposed trip. Not just answer 'for vacation and sightseeing' That's even tautology in itself; vacation and sightseeing could connote the same thing in this context.

How about you saying 'I intend to visit New York for my vacation this year. I have a few interesting places like xxxxx and xxxxx and xxxx to see. I also plan to take a road trip to xxxxxxx and will be doing xxxxxxx'

That, I believe is a more acceptable response. For one thing, it shows you're prepared for your trip. Such answers can lead the VO to ask about your finances and job which you're also expected to talk very well about.

I made hotel reservation already which i included in my ds160 form. the issues is that I'm travelling alone cause my hubby to be is not intressted to go cause of his work. he's a banner and I'm also not going with my baby cause my baby will be writing his exams in school during Nov when I'm going for my shopping. the only travel experience I have was when i visited my uncle at Dublin with my mom as a minor. which i can't prove cause i don't have my minor passport anymore and I want to Ghana by road early this year and which means my passport carrys no stamp. should i just say i haven't travelled before if they ask? will going with my baby give me more chances and also, should i also let them know I had the baby before I met my hubby to be? pls I need advise .

I do agree with you on being short and simple. In fact, no interviewer wants to listen to boring life tales. The key here is knowing the right thing to say per time. Let me tell you, my whole interview I narrated here didn't last up to 7 minutes, that's me trying to put a time frame. Know what you want to say and say it well.

If you know your answers quite well and prepare, you shouldn't have trouble expressing yourself in short simple sentences. For me, brief yes/no answers aren't convincing enough and I'm yet to see an approved transcript bearing such markings here.

My advise as always is that people shake off the timidity. And again, if you're interesting enough, the VO will listen to you. Other applicants will wait for their turn.

The same thing happened to my husband and I on the 1st of August and we were turned back to reschedule our appointment. It's very easy, just go back to the page and follow the procedure on how to reschedule your appointment. And also make sure you upload your picture. Good luck

Secondly if you were denied in your previous application under 214b and the questions are been asked in the form why were you denied what should be your appropriate answer

I don't think so sir......what I note from the Vo is that they always have report after your previous interview..... One Vo was telling someone yesterday that he a lie about his previous interview

To get visa na one thing to be admitted thru POE is another thing entirely. God bless all our efforts.

She applied like 5 Years ago and want to reapply now will the first information be in there database after 5years with other information that were not correct?
