I'm so apprehensive here, let's keep all political inclinations away bikonu. It starts in some hours time and nobody knows how it will roll. Aba and Umuahia incidents today isn't good to the ears and I wonder what this bodes for the rest of us. Nkpor is already heating up. . Let's keep ourselves updated about what is happening around our neighborhoods and warn others. 1 Like 1 Share |

People calling for war on radio Biafra already, is that the best? The killings going on is bad but talking of war is out of it. 1 Like 1 Share |

Can we survive another war? Scars of 1967-1970 is still there. I'm scared as mad right now. I've received several calls from friends and relatives to leave town, just don't know what to do 1 Like 1 Share |

In as much as I don't support kanus ideology as it's not objective, constructive and timely enough. I totally condemned soldier's invasion of his home but who can blame the soldiers when his so called biafra secret service were throwing stones at the soldiers. I expected the youths in that region to display their intelligence and tell kanu that he is wrong with those speeches but they keep behaving like him. The soldiers can now take the streets over to douse the tension without biased. ONE NIGERIA SHALL WE PREACH AND SHALL REMAIN. 2 Likes |

Yyeske: Calling for war isn't the right way to go but I understood clearly how it feels seeing ur kinsmen slaughtered like rams by armed soldiers simply because u demanded for ur right. The blame isn't entirely on them. Buhari should have been cautious enough to understand how issues such as this can be managed without conflagration. 1 Like |

You are well-understood to be a Buharist and have made very provocative statements on this forum in the past, now you want to run,run where? Suffice this to say, nobody wants war,it favours no one. It practically destroys everything you toiled to build. I thought the FG has closed the transmission of that illegal radio station, what are they waiting for? There will be hot blood because of the emotions of people killed, this is where the Governors and traditional rulers need to work,am shocked no statement from them or their legislooters who have extended their honeymoon by 1 week. It is incumbent on the Igbos not to retaliate, calm frayed nerves and channel grievances within the ambits of the law. |

Yyeske: Unfortunately, politics is at the centre of it all and cannot be ruled out. I thank God u are in the East. If u and ur kind had taken off ur Buharist glasses, you'd be clear on the fact that he does not hide his malice and hatred for Southerners especially Christians and worst still the Igbo. The Igbos rightfullt return that hatred measure for measure no matter how politically corrext u try to be. You'd also agree that supporting him the way u do cannot bode well for ur ppl especially with the current Nigerian structure that allows the centre to operate at the whims and caprice of the president. Now he has rolled out the Army against his sworn enemies and you're apprehensive because at the end of it all u are Igbo and nothing more to him. Ur 5% representation will not earn u special status so u will get hit as badly as the next Igbo man who does not shy away from his identity and identifies his enemy clearly. Unless of course reason prevails, u are as guilty as everyone else and u know ur offence? You are IGBO and the president u adore hates that u dare exist and ur natural Igbo inclination is not to roll over n play dead like he is used to from his people. 1 Like |
