But you told someone on the uber thread who complained that his Toyota corolla strut failed to check the steering rack.

"Front struts and engine mounts do not wear out at once, wear is progressive.
Your engine mounts and struts were not destroyed by new driver.
Meanwile from experience the struts of your veicle hardly fail, look in the direction of te steering rack.
Good luck."

most times front suspension noises from the corrola 07-11 are caused by the steering rack. It is often misdiagnosed.

That is what I mean.

Kindly assist asap, I have a friend who wants to go into uber/taxify big time, he wants to start with 4 cars at the moment, he has not gotten the cars yet so he is relying on my advice for the choice of cars to pick from

What are your advices on the choice of cars please considering MPG, maintenance and durability.

Noting more than 1.8liter engine size. Honda city 2007-2009, kia rio from 2007-2011, toyota corrola 2003-2007.

GAZZUZZ, good day to you.

Have a friend driving a Honda Accord 2004 Ex v6.

Engine is perfect, but gear behaves erratic after about an hour drive. Gear selects well, it works for about an hour and then it refuses to move on drive, but the reverse works perfectly.
P. S, it works well early in the day after resting over night.

What can be the issue? Is it due for servicing?

Gear selects well, but when it's been on for a while, it works for about an hour and it's parked, it refuses to move on drive, but the reverse works perfectly.

What can be the issue? Is it due for servicing?

For peace of mind, replace gearbox.
