Ladipo Market also known as Ladipo Auto Spare Parts Market is a market located in Mushin local government area of Lagos State. The market which is considered the biggest auto spare parts market in Lagos is opened on a daily basis except on Sundays. Ladipo is an interesting market. Always bubbling and full of life. It is undeniably the largest automobile spare parts market in West Africa (maybe Africa). In Ladipo you can get various types of spare parts from Engines to Suspension parts to body parts, accessories and many more. There is also the dark side of Ladipo... The unpleasant experiences. We have all heard stories about sales of Sub standard parts in Ladipo. Sometimes traders sell fake parts in disguise.. Have you ever had a funny or bad experience at Ladipo? Kindly share 1 Like |

Ladipo is a good place but be sure to take your trusted mechanic with u, I had issues with my Ford transmission and after several consultations which were really on the high side to be modest, off we went to ladipo and with less than 15k and in just 2 hours , the issue has been resolved. Go with a trusted and competent mechanic and u will be glad. 14 Likes |

Kasali (mechanic) and emeka ( spare parts dealer) are 1 Nigeria at the market...the collabo they do to shave your pocket smoothly would shock you when you see people type nonsense about igbos against yourba nonsense. Try to take the lead and don't let your mechanic dictate the shop to buy from 39 Likes 1 Share

This market is very close to my place of residence. If you want to laugh at live comedy just take a stroll around the market . Fraudsters outnumber honest traders over there by the ratio 87:1 27 Likes |

In Ladipo, please do away with barada people. just yesterday my friend was begging to pay N8k for a side mirror but the guy refused and said it is 10k last. low and behold we got the same side mirror for N400 inside the main market. shine your eye foe ladipo. 31 Likes 3 Shares |

Lol. Ladipo market use to be my zone those days as a teenager. My elder brother who just woke up one morning and vowed to never go to school became a sparepare dealer at age 18.Before age 27, he became made. Yes! There are many crooks in ladipo market. .I've done my own fair share of selling substandard shiits .Some customers would prefer the fake in order to save more money, especially those customers that are buying on behalf of companies. Again, I noticed those who are honest enough are pretty wealthy.Unlike me,(of course igwa ta oso ahia adiro nfe!",My boss brother sells substandard to those who can't afford original, after much persuasions. But when dealing with companies, he will never sell substandard as he loves his growing reputation. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

ok. I remember when I went to ladipo back in 2013 to buy a car from those that unload from containers. I saw an Infinity qx4 2002 model. I price it for 1.3m sealed the deal with the owner and gave him a commitment cash of 40k to show him I am serious. though the car is foreign used and good engine, the physical body has been damaged and the interior was very dirty with grease from additional car parts they stocked in it. the car has been terribly damaged ,but with assurance from the mechanic who tested it. he confirmed its in top shape. just do the body work respray and wash the interior throughput. but what happened next suprised me. we were just preparing to go to the bank with the car and make the final payment. then the seller unknowingly to me, sold the car to someone else at a higher price and collected a commitment fee from him. then he delayed me for almost the end of the day saying that he wants to get the original customs document from his house at Ajah. I waited and waited until evening around 3pm, I became angry, he was just waiting for me to get angry and ask for my 40k back and then he will tell me that I have made him lost some customers he will deduct 10k and balance me 30k. I don't know if this is thier strategy to scan people. but in the end,I thanked God for the mechanic,he knêw this scam very well, he just told him he will report him to the alayes that are incharge of the garage and they will mess with him, he told him he knew the scam so well. after this ha have me back my complete money. and we left. it was an ugly experience and I had to go to sanya after ijesha bride to buy another Infiniti car 2000 model at 1.150k without any repairs whatsoever. I made that deposit of 40k thier and tomorrow finalized the deal. 21 Likes 2 Shares |

try and go directly to the buyer ,do not attend to someone who is not in front of his shop. They are called ' baranda' or 'asabari'. They will take u to the real seller, and skyrocket the price. 4 Likes |

Followed my uncle to buy his car parts We were asked to pay for a parking space, they ended up showing us a canal to park and it was raining heavily. Bringing the car out of the canal was another problem, one of those rogues had to help us bring out the car.I was harrassed by different rogues as they keep approaching the car and yelling"Omo ele,Baby how far,and the likes. 19 Likes |

I enjoy going to ladipo to fix my car but you have to be very careful the advantage are numerous you get the exact parts if it's not OK you return immediately and for few hours you can fix problem that could have lasted 1or 2days but try as much to go with your trusted mechanic or better if you have knowledge about car buy your parts yourself without baranda boys negotiate how much to fix with the mechanics any little chance you giv those mechanic may end up more cash they may as well condemn some of the parts that are still OK like one smartly put oil on my shock telling me I need to refill i quickly send him off the bottom line is don't do any job until you are through with ur negotiations |

Can't forget sometime in 2013 i wanted to buy a moderate fairly used asha nokia phone ended up buying the fake one precisely china, after i complain to the seller that he sold china for me, he keep exchanging the the phone with other phone that he have but still china brand. I plan to threaten the buyer with police only to come the next and learnt the seller was shot by armed robber that after seeing the obituary post.i gave up and just manage the phone. That experience made me to stop buying any fairly used phone instead i save to buy new one 4 Likes |
