Good morning all beautiful mamas in the house and happy weekend.
I know I haven't been active in the thread but I must say that I have learnt quite a lot by coming here and I have grown quite addicted to the chats and banters amongst mamas. It calms my mind .
I envy the preggy mamas here with the way they carry their bumps with so much fun and excitement .
I really wish to do that too but fear is silently killing me cos of past experience of loosing twin babies at birth.
Please my fellow mamas, I apologies if my post puts anybody off but kindly remember me in your prayers that afflictions shall not arise again in my life and at the end of this journey God gives me beauty for past ashes.
I feel comfortable sharing this with fellow mamas here and I hope i am more welcome once again.

Affliction shall not rise up again. Please don't entertain fear at all. Think positive and confess positive everyday, everytime and it will surely come to pass.

Good morning mamas in the house. I hope you all slept well. I Thank God for making us be among the living today.

Lemme rant a little and testify.

So last 2 weeks dh wasnt home and I needed to charge my phone, I went and pulled the gen,.... I pulled it twice when I felt a shift in my tummy, it went to the middle part of my tummy by the belly bottom and got stuck there. It started becoming stronger and didn't go down... After some hours I noticed the shape of my tummy had changed,...it was looking pointed, like my baby was forcing his way through my belly button... The belly button was pointing out then I started feeling so much pains in my tummy. I didn't panic, I just maintained and started observing it... It was still the same, then I took a stroll out that evening..tho I was still feeling the pains and it was kind of late so I couldn't start rushing to the hospital. I got back home from my strolling and noticed the shift had improved a little. I decided to eat and took a rest.
Woke up the next day I could feel my LO moving.. That brought joy to me. I prayed to God to help me and he did. Although the stiffness and lower abdomen pains were still there for some days but I could manage it to work and do other things. I told my mIL she said I should have some rest. My mom wasn't happy because she warned me about lifting anything heavy.

Fast forward to this week Wednesday,.. My appointment with the doc was straight forward, I laid my experiences the past weeks, I complained about dizziness too (which I've mentioned here before). He told me to lay down on the bed, he checked my tummy and tried to listen to the heartbeat of my baby. Then he said "everything is fine". Thank God. He sent me for a scan, to the glory of God everything is truly fine. Cervix still closed. Healthy 2nd trimester. Gendy XY I was all smiles. Glory to God. Help me Thank this God. He is always there when he is needed.

Oh lemme not forget, I was given TT injection that same day. Pls o, after taking TT injection does it leave you in so much pains? And how long? Because mine is way too much now, initially I was experiencing joint pains that I couldn't move my feet freely. Now the hand which I was injected won't stop paining me o. The area is so hardened, sometimes I feel like scratching the hell out of it.

Mamas, what are the necessary things one needs to put together for their new born?
What are the items to be put in the delivery bag? I really dont know least of what to buy. If i tell dh that we have things to buy and the man says name ur price i wee juss be saying ok am coming

There shall be no loss... Affliction shall not rise the second time.. Mama you have to remove fear from your mind and rock your pregnancy because He that keepeth Isreal(you and your lo) never slumber nor sleeps. Biko rock your pregnancy to the fullest and call me to come and chop rice when it's time for naming.

In other news I still can't believe I'm going to be someboris mother in a month or so ... The feeling of having a little angel looking up to me is so surreal to me

I havent checked my los sex,maybe I'll do when i go for my next antenal. you are so lucky you're having a boy and a girl. you will rest a long time before another missionary journey or if u want just two kids,u will just close shop. i envy u o jare. It is well with you sis. Affliction cannot rise a second time, you are more than victorious. Let go of your fear so it doesn't rid you off the joy of having your babe in your arms. Keep smiling ok .

Team February I greet una o, even if nobody asks after me I'm doing fine by now many of of us should have forgotten what morning sickness is but me still dey vomit o, just praying the thing free me jare.

We are 16weeks 2 days according to LMP but scan dates 17 plus, leading twin is xy while the other is xx.
God has been good so far and we are trusting him to take us to the very end.

I will type out what's in my list from the hospital for you.
For the mother:
Dressing gown, maternity Bra,towel, sanitary pads, flat slippers, washing soap, Glucose, toilet roll, cotton wool, spoon & cup, pack of razor blade, detergent,brush, wrappers, pair of surgical gloves, bleach, disposable sanitary pants, sponge, nightingale.

For the Baby:
Baby clothes and vest
Flannel
Towel
Nappies/Diapers
Bottle of olive oil
Baby soap, sponge and comb
Bottle of methylated Spirit
Antiseptic cream
Flask
Coconut oil
Latex glove
CH gel- for the cord, no more cleaning with spirit.
The list covers whether its vag delivery or CS as you might need to spend a couple of days in the hospital.

Thank you mama. The generator thought won't even cross my mind again. I've learnt my lessons already. Yh the TT injection I'll just be watching it. The good nurse (I won't call her useless) didn't wipe the blood with the cotton wool when she was done. Said there was no blood. When she left and I was about leaving the hospital I noticed the blood. Chai I just couldn't climb back upstairs. I had to allow the blood dry off to I can use the tip of my nail to take it off because of the fear of rubbing the spot. I don't know if its why the injection tip is protruding out. I'm also kind of worried it has gotten infected because of the blood I allowed to dry up... I hope not.

Pls mamas my gum is swelling up I can hardly enjoy my food and brush my teeth can I take riboflavin or just endure it

Pls the food committees.. I beg you all in the name of God, pls take it easy pls. I've been watching silently and cooking mine. I will not die because of food. From 63kg to 71kg haba e fear me. I no follow again. I want to lose the baby fat as soon as my joy is out.

I sincerely feel for those still experiencing MS. @booqee, its well with you. Soon you all will enjoy your pregnancy. I experienced every bit of what you're going through but now I'm enjoying myself. One day you'll forget you ever experienced MS and get tired of too much food. Your diary is one funny one sha, ..I've been peeping.... Its well dear. God is your strength.

I don't think that is the case. Maybe the thing wan just do like dah. I don't know if you can use ice to bring down the protruding or just let it be. Sabi mamas will soon guide you ok. Hang in there.
