yawwilson: Chinedu7: Good morning Chinedu and yawwilson, I checked my neighbor's SRT4955 receiver yesterday night and I was surprised to see that the lnb setting was wrongly set. The lnb setting on his receiver was having "5150/5750" instead of "5150" and this wrong setting have made him suffer a lot by climbing up all the time to change the positioning of the lnb. The receiver is okay but just that it inflate the signal. |

[/quote] Glad you made this observation known.By default all the c band settings are set to 5150/5750 and for picture quality so far it's the same with 4950 (some may say better ) depending on satellite transmission. For tuner the best so far. No hype!! |

tiftif: Change to a different channel on a different transponder and then back to Sp24 each time it happens. It will correct temporarily and when it lags again repeat the same maneuver. U have to bear with it for now |

Gurus, Please urgent help for a brother......my SRT 4922 only blind scanning only 2 lower TPs and keep repeating same stations severally.e.g If I blindscan multi TV,it keep scanning from lower TPs only upto 12525v30000 and keeps repeating same channels within that frequency range (stops over and over at galaxy channel,no Joy prime and all the rest again. I factory reset, no headway and am running patch 197p . |

sunene1:I watched Athetletico Mad vs Malaga match last night on 1.8m dish in the north. I perceived the satellite moved a bit, so the signal shifted. All you have to do is tilt your dish forward a little while stand at the back of your dish. You make need to brace the dish. Make sure you get up to 76-77% for stability. Enjoy FTA! |

samhwande67: My search shows Kwese Sports and Fox sports will show the EFLC. DSTV has even lost the right. Those who know, pls is it the fox sports on star times which will show it? |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by Chinedu7: 6:33am On Sep 17, 2017 |
sunene1:The signal reduced but it's still watchable with 1.8m, it just requires little adjustments. If your LNBF plate is plastic, swap it with glass. Make sure your TVT is not less than 70%, the feeds signal will come up. |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by sunene1: 6:40am On Sep 17, 2017 |
Chinedu7:Thanks bro.I will do justice to it. |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by Chinedu7: 6:41am On Sep 17, 2017 |
lincolnola:From experience, this issue is usually not caused by software. It could be signal fault though strong normally don't have this problem which is common with Qsat but they all have signal IC in them which can result in selecting few tps when it's faulty. If the TP you are seeing after blindscan is lower than its usual % and some tps don't come up when you insert them manually, then it's definitely signal IC but if you can get them manually them it's software issue. You can try upgrading or downgrading. |
