The right of association remains a God given one. The failure to negotiate for the contrary will never bring about peace and stability. If Nigeria is to develop it has to be peaceful and stable. For it to do that it has to negotiate with its constituents, its citizens on a constant basis. Violence or the threat of it solves nothing. Nigeria today is no better than it was two weeks ago. Nothing is fair in Love and War: The case of Igbos be the Nigerian Army (operation Python dance) Yagba Hilary I have been called names, insulted and tagged an animal because I have been of the opinion that Nnamdi Kanu uses a wrong approach is his Biafra struggle. Robert Greene the author best selling "48 laws of power" , and the "33 strategies of war" made it clear that "Always say less than necessary" A very important aspect of the Biafran struggle Nnamdi Kanu, and his Ipobians took for granted. Thus setting the new chapter called" operation python dance " It all started with fight for Biafra when Nnamdi Kalu emerged as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria to grant the Igbos equal rights in the social and economic development of Nigeria. The struggle continued hard and gained so much popularity and relevance with the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, with numerous other who were remanded in the Kuje Prison for close to 2 years before being granted bail. The bail conditions which included : Having persons who will stand to surety him with 100 million naira each, not being in the midst of more than 10 persons amongst other. Freedom is a right which we all know, but that does not dispute the fact that you should use your freedom to make the lives of other miserable. He started his fight with misguided utterances, calling Nigeria a zoo, and it even got worse after his bail. Videos of interview he held and meetings show him insulting any other person that did not have the same opinion with him on the Biafran issue. He went ahead to tag people who attended churches headed by Yoruba pastors as slowpoke and fools. Called President Buhari and animal, declared support openly to agents that were against the unity of Nigeria. He as a matter of fact declared that it was either Biafra or death. Gave way for the formation of the Biafra Security Service (BSS) illegal organization. This is a man who I believe did not have any experience of the pains of the Civil War because either he was not born as at 1967 or he was still a child leading over a million people to a struggle the wrong way, using wrong choice of words and cursing those who are supposed to help him further the cause. This same went ahead to dare the Nigerian military that if they try to arrest him, none of them will go back alive. He broke every single clause attached to his bail conditions and even called his fellow Ibos who did not buy the Biafra idea Pigs, morons and nonentities. He thus, fought for the right thing in every wrong way. Today, tears and pain are remembered when the mention of the Army operation in Abia state is mentioned "the python dance", Nnamdi Kanu is nowhere to be found as he has varnished to an unknown destination, media houses carried news of his father being taken away by the Nigerian Army and many Ibos sons and Daughters were killed and other tortured which cannot be forgotten soon. This is not even a quarter of what the Military can actually do, as history books well read remind us of the case of Odi in Bayelsa state and Zaki Biam in Benue state. To all who are say it is because the boys did not pick up weapons to challenge the Army, let it make it categorically clear that the moments they pick up arms, it becomes a full scale military operation where none will be spared. And never you compare the incident and tagged the Army cowards for not fighting Shekau of Boko Haram but Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB as the former is as good as being faceless, and have no known home, goes ahead to kidnap even girls in Chibok, while the latter has known families, it's members do not swear oaths of killing ibos and are not ready to die for no just cause. My heart goes out to my eastern brothers who have been affected, let us all embrace peace and unity, and use our heads to reason before taking actions that end of endangering our own lives and freedom. And remember while the 30 months old Nigeria Civil War lasted, Ojukwu and his immediate family members did not lose their lives as up till today they still hold various positions in Nigeria and tell tales of the ills of war. While Nnamdi Kanu keeps in calling bluff of the Nigerian state, does not takes advices of Ibo Generals who fought the civil war yet when the python dances as seen in the case of the Nigerian Army visiting Abia state.
