I am appealing to all on this platform to desist from ethnic memes, it doesn't help anyone. Minor teasing from time to time I think is OK.

My few Igbo brothers, please desist from use of afonja, yoruba demons and calling anyone that disagrees with you afonja. My Yoruba brothers reduce insults as well. I personally may not be perfect and may have made similar comments, maybe to a lesser extent.

I've worked and related with most tribes in Nigeria, we are all brothers. Whether one Nigeria or Biafra, or Oduduwa or Igbo nation, let us love one another. It doesn't matter if we remain one country or not. It does not warrant insults.

I advise defaulters be banned or their statement censored. I've increasingly seen on Facebook in recent times people abusing and acusing Igbos, including friends and acquaintances. Being Igbo and innocent of those accusations made me feel bad.

Ethnic bashing is not good.

Not about Python dance. The hatred is building a lot of momentum. I'm not ipob, never supported them. Though I desire independent Igbo nation, though not through hate speech like Kanu.

Though Buhari's blunder made Kanu a hero , his continuous actions are heating up the polity.

Don't get this wrong, derogatory remarks won't help us

LiePob denying membership

Since 2015 Yeebos started the use of memes and hate speech, hardly would you go to any forum or topic without seeing afonja meme or the word afonja being used to counter, derail or insult any opinion contrary to theirs

Go to your browser look for settings and click "find" from drop down, once the "find" box appears click afonja, I'm sure you'll find results like 1 of 14 in each page

So before you call any truce, how about Reprimanding your brothers

Seems you did not read my submission very well. I first called out some (a few) of my kins in my post. Go through my posts. Of course you just called me liepod without even knowing me. That is exactly what we need to end. We can't progress if we all start bashing one another because I'm yoruba or Igbo. It can start with to stop using those memes. When you use them, you decend to the level of the hate mongers.

It will be nice but people have to show love first. It is not good when people mock others who are plainly marginalized and treated unfairly.People should condemn suck act and become their brother's keeper Everyone should feel the injustice meted to one tribe as injustice meted to all. With that I am sure derogatory name calling will gradually die. I give you example. The recruitment in NNPC and DSS where SE was cheated. What do you expect the Igbos to say to the Yorubas who mischieviously claim that the Igbos are noise makers and not marginalized?

Condemn the act and actors but not their ethnic group

Both Igbos, Yorubas and other ethnicities are guilty. Even ipob e-warriors call afonja if I don't agree with them

op....your heart may be in the right place but definitely you are not in the right country

A sitting president upon winning an election had a Press conference abroad
And he made it clear that those who didn't vote for him should not expect the same treatment as those who voted him while calling them the 5% in the process....
There is no greater hate than this

Such a country ruled by such man is a harbinger of hate ..tribalism.. Nepotism and all the negative vices you shouldn't find in a progressive country

Nigeria is cursed and forever divided
There is nothing anyone can do about it
