You see, when I started on my occult journey which was informed by my insatiable quest for knowledge at a tender age, I was lucky enoug to realise how wiiiiide the road is. My library is extremely compreheeeenssssiiiivvveeee with regard to occult philosophies, lore, discoveries and whatnot and it is a constant reminder of how easy one can get totally stumped in occult pursuits-wasting so many years with conflicting traditions without making headway.

I'm very intrepid in my occult lean, so I dove into the deep end straight (read: Evocation-Advanced Occultism, not for the fainthearted) to avoid all the wahala I've been reading on this thread (so much theorizing and little practice given what I've been reading).

Like I iterated in some post wayyyy back, I'm old school when it comes to the occult (full moon, incense, words of power, astrology, divination, scrying, watching seasons and time bla bla bla). Has it been rewarding? Oh yes!

I have discovered that theorizing about the occult sciences just leaves room for more theorizing hence I kept mute and started doing. I discuss with other Adepts, ministers of the gospel and so called native practitioners as they all have one thing in common; they all practice.

In practice alone can you really find the truth, not in theorizing. The theorists that proffered these theories got them from practice hoping that you'd do same and perfect what they started and in the long run proffer your own theory and the chain continues.

I challenge you to get up now, decide on a path and start practising (even if you've to ululate bareassed like Sarassin to gain enlightenment [you dont want to know what some folks go through in their quest for initiation into the secrets of the universe] because I tell you this, if you truly get the real thing, you'd have walked on hot coals if asked to do so before being blessed with such "power".

Seeing you may not be heavily involved in Evocation, the 72 demons of the Lesser Key of Solomon are stratified into Kings, Dukes, Princes, Marquis, Presidents and Counts (not arranged in order of importance). Of course, I don't have to tell you that the kings are more imposing and contacting them can.sometimes take some doing and interacting with them in the physical, well, that DEFINITELY takes some doing. So, for someone who has contacted ALL 72 including some very nasty entities, I'm really intrigued and what to know more.

Was bedridden for three days due to the rebound effect, had to call on Michael to do battle on my behalf (he always comes you know).

This brings me to why I asked that OP that question as the entity I evoked was a very powerful King and before then I had consulted other Adepts, read everything I could about him and fortified myself. I was warned not to carrynout the ceremony by every Adept I contacted (and they are quite powerful with many books written between them) but one told me something, he said " it may seem selfish using you as a guinea pig but if you want to do this, I'd appreciate it".

So, I'm sure the poster I addressed the question to would forgive me if my interest is piqued when it comes to evocation and the goetia.

The Tantric experience works fine for me although I also love the Hermetic background that I have.
