Why do all Nigerian billionaire owe their wealth to government patronage and not through hardwork? Any fool can become a billionaire in Nigeria if given monopoly over industries or an oil block. 1 Like |

obonujoker:Bill Gates,Zuckerberg,Richard Branson,Jeff Bezoz,Warren Buffet etc. Goverments created the right business enviroment. Nigerian billionaires became fronts for corrupt dictators and Presidents to launder their loots so were handed oil blocks and monopoly over industries. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

DutchBruh: Shut the fck up. ALL bilionaires, including the above, have benefitted from an unequal system, both at national and international level. The reason the US can create so many billionaires is because of the inequality of the international economic order, as propagated by the international banking system, the World Bank, IMF, Paris Club etc, where multinationals are granted overriding power to skew international power dynamics in their favour, while developing nations are forced to play a game they had no hand in creating. 1 Like |

obonujoker:Dangote is the oga at the top when it comes to being a conduit for corrupt dictators. Why did you think a demon like Abacha gave him monopoly over cement, flour and pasta.I guess because he was a nice bloke who expected nothing in return as well as OBJ. Without Abacha and OBJ there will be no Dangote. Otedola is OBJ front and came out of no were and was helped greatly by OBJ. He was a major player in the $6.8 billion dollar fuel subsidy scam. Jimoh Ibrahim is the number one criminal businessman in the country. There is not a more corrupt and dubious businessman in the country. As for Innoson he is still a millionaire and not a billionaire. |

Good guys only make money to take care of immediate needs e.g house/shop rents, clothe, food and probably an average car. Bad guys make money to build houses, buy super cars, build companies and industries. Nobody with excess money is completely clean even footballers jump tax. Be a bad guy, take the risk and make super duper cash or be a good guy earn honest cash and stop complaining. |

What arrogant ignorance. You really have a warped mind. You think the US and other governments are as jobless and corrupt as ours? Bill Gates built Microsoft which is known all over the world. Mark Zukerberg built Facebook which has over 2 billion users. So tell me how again the government helped them? And Jack Ma? Lol. Use your brain for once. China executes their corrupt public officers and even take intending public office holders on excursions to prisons to see their corrupt politicians languishing in jails. You know why they do so? To let them know that the same fate will befall for embezzling public funds or being corrupt or misappropriating public offices. Rossikki: |

shervydman:Nigeria so called richmen became billionaires in the most corrupt country in the world by becoming fronts for dictators and Ex-Presidents and being reservoirs for their loots and making regular returns to their bank accounts. Do you know what it takes to find favour with IBB,Abacha and OBJ some of the most corrupt and ruthless individuals to grace the planet. If you play with pigs you will get dirty, none of them made their money legitimately. |
