Joebie: Biko, Ramon Azeez was always average. He was never one of the best young DMs in la liga. Michael Olaitan had a major injury set back and never got his grove back. So far this season, Aina is among the best rbs in the championship. 1 Like |

You wan't me to hand you a link? Ramon Azeez was once voted the best young player in LaLiga or if i'm mistaking, Almeria. if you follow the discussion very well, you will know my reference to Olaitan has to do with him performing very well at a point. Overall, we are talking about these players development. I'm saying you can't make a reference to a distant past, and then conclude they are class and better than their competition now. Modified I corrected the impression that Aina is the best.. among the best is different from the best. We talking whoscored stats now tbaba1234: |

forgiveness: In football you are only as good as your last game. A year in football is like ancient history, two years is archived and three years your totally forgotten. That is why you could be valued £100million one season have a poor season and you could be worth £20 million. Since Ilori came to Liverpool he has done nothing he has been overtaken by boys who were 7/ 8 years younger than him. In near 4 years at Liverpool he has played 3 token cup games. You are referring to ancient history of 4/5 years ago in Portugal. I have watched him train at Kirby and play several U23 Games, firstly, he lacks the athleticism and strength required for the EPL even the Championship, consider that he has played over near two seasons in the Championship but just 12 games for Reading. That means Stamp does not rate him at all and its really a waste of money. Compare him to Domonic Iorfa first team regular for Ipswich over a hundred games in the championship ,add to that Iorfa is just 22, 2 years younger but way more experienced to summarise, them no be mate at all. |

Joebie: To me this vindicates the story MFM gave that he was tricked. I believe when he decided against the agent was when the reports of 2 passports came out. The agent was only trying to damage the boy. Odey will learn from this and hopefully the damage is done so he can move on. |

Please stop making reference to Olaitan's heart issue. stay with the context here. I am not here to argue to win an argument. Olaitan was once outstanding. Azeez was the best young player in Almeria -- "like I said if was not mistaking". You said Almeria was a poor club? granted. But Azeez did win an MOTM award in the LaLiga. Ilori also did once in LaLiga. So my point here has always been these players have had a high point, but at the moment they are not seeing the best of times. That's the reason for my comparison. Maybe you guys think I'm making a whole different argument here. Modified Permit me to add, in comparison with Aina, and Lorfa tbaba1234: |

Loooollll.... first you say Nacho complains... now you say I am the one complaining.... Well, I have not been complaining for Nacho. Look through the thread again.... It is Sir TheGoodJoe who always raise complaints about Leicester's style.... not me. So get your eyesight sorted okay.... And all you have written is bollocks and makes no meaning when I already know the angle from which you come. So when Nacho was making fine progress at City and took the EPL by storm under pellegrini, he was at the wrong club abi?? Like I said, Khaldoon made mention of him in their review... that cannot be altered. That explains the buyback fee obviously... They just have to make Pep happy and Nacho was a victim of this. They could let Nacho go to satisfy Pep's demands... but they didn't wanna just part with him. That is also a fact. So the problem was the coach, pep and not the club. Furthermore, Was it not you and Goldfish80 several pages back when I was not even around (but I happened to read back) who made ridiculous comments about Nothing being special about Nacho's goal against Zambia?? was it not you who even said Nacho's goal against Zambia didn't even win any award?? Only to be called to order by Sir Humility017 about Nacho's CNN award for that beautiful goal... What is that called if not deliberate blindness to anything that credits Nacho..... So what is actually defined as senseless, Childish and silly is the way you keep going around the thread finding every little opportunity to ridicule Nacho and coating it with "so called intelligent" remarks which actually suggests pseudo-intellectualism.... So rant and speak in epistles all you want... I know your thoughts and views towards anything Nacho. It is always biased from the onset... #Fact Mickael2: 2 Likes |

Please leave the Vultures.... don't mind them. Months ago, they didn't wanna hear anything about Nacho's Crazy EPL scoring stats but now the likes of Mickael2 and Komekn are bringing it into their silly arguments saying stuffs like... "He was good and explosive before... he had the best scoring stats in the EPL but now he is failing woefully... " These are the same guys who did all they could to water down Nacho's scoring stats earlier this year in discussions and now feel it is safe to acknowledge it just because they wanna harp and sing notes on the fall of Iheanacho... how classically silly. This lad just had his first start and the manager is pleased for it. He is not even 100% according to the manager's words... so why all the negative talks about Nacho? It is really silly. Just plain silly. I wonder what they would say about Ousmane Dembele who just moved to Barca for €150million and just picked up a four months injury.... he has not even had time to make impact yet as Neymar's replacement and like Nacho already has one assist on his first appearance for the club anywhere..... sebi that one too na disaster abi? Smh.... In football, I have learnt one strong truth and fact.... it is not about starters but about Finishers. Thanks for the Mention on Awoniyi.... same Mickael2 also wrote him off... shows he has a knack for writing off just about anyone who is not Ndidi... lolll AIG07: 1 Like |

Albrighton On Huddersfield - Praise For Iheanacho Winger Marc Albrighton had admitted that Leicester City won't get away with lacklustre performances like Huddersfield Town this year, and manager Craig Shakespeare had praise for Kelechi Iheanacho's performance in the game, especially as he's still building is fitness following injury issues. Heading to the John Smith's Stadium for the game, Leicester fell behind just after the half time restart but a Jamie Vardy penalty had us pretty quickly back on level terms. Speaking to the Leicester Mercury as he spoke with the media following the one all draw, Albrighton explained. 'I think we have to be pleased with a point after a performance we believe was below par. Huddersfield did to us what we normally do to other teams. They got in our faces and made it difficult for us. We didn`t find a way around that. In the first half particularly we were poor, but in the second half we gave it a go.' He went on to say. 'Conceding so early on is always a blow but getting back into the game so quickly afterwards is a credit to us. A point is probably a fair result. At half-time we said for some reason or another it just wasn`t there. We won`t get away with that against a lot of teams this year. Fortunately we hung in there. Last year we probably would have lost that game. We hung in there and got a point. It was a blow to concede so quickly in the second half because we spoke at half-time about winning the first and second balls. Straight away we didn`t do that and we conceded. It was tough to take but we got back into the game and we needed to do that.' With four points from the opening five games, Albrighton knew there was plenty of room for improvement and he was confident we'd show that. 'We have had some tough games to start. We have played Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, so coming here we knew it would be a different test but equally as hard. We weren`t on our game and if we had have been we probably would have got maximum points. It is frustrating.' With Iheanacho coming back into the starting eleven and making his full debut for the club, getting 69 minutes under his belt, Shakespeare was quoted by the same outlet as saying he was pleased with his performance, especially as he's not yet 100%. 'It was very pleasing to see him work so hard but I expected them all to put a shift in. We know the reality he hasn`t trained fully or played fully. I think he will only benefit from playing and getting more minutes under his belt. His fitness and sharpness will improve. As a forward you are looking for that dynamic movement in the final third but he is still finding that. He is capable of playing that role in terms of linking up but he can also play on the shoulder and get in behind as well. It is important as a forward you have other strings to your bow. He played the role we asked and I thought he did it admirably.' Source: http://www.leicester.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=505214 2 Likes |

Arsenal Arsenal news: Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck impressed me with intensity v Chelsea - Wright By Charles Perrin IAN WRIGHT has picked out Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi as two Arsenal players that stood out against Chelsea. Popular In the Community Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck put in a solid shift against Chelsea Arsenal, who hadn’t won on their travels this season prior to their trip to Stamford Bridge, picked up an unlikely point at the reigning champions yesterday. Iwobi and Welbeck were deployed in wide positions before they were replaced by Mohamed Elneny and Olivier Giroud. And while accepting it wasn’t their best performances in the colours of Arsenal, Wright was quick to praise the workrate of the duo. “They put a shift in for the team,” Wright told Match of the Day 2 . “Either of them you wouldn’t say individually had a brilliant game, but in the system they were both very effective. “It is something you need whether Sanchez or Ozil are in there and you need the same intensity from Iwobi and Welbeck playing in those positions.” Meanwhile, Wright was also keen to hail the efforts of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey. He added: “Shkodran Mustafi must get a mention and so should the back five as all of them were brilliant, but it was the performance of Xhaka and Ramsey and the discipline they showed we didn’t see that against Liverpool. “They were close and always in front protecting and they were just fantastic. “You can see Arsene Wenger mention they had been working on it.” Source: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/855437/Arsenal-Alex-Iwobi-Danny-Welbeck-Ian-Wright-Chelsea 1 Like |

Neville Tasks Sanchez, Ozil To Learn From Diligent Iwobi, Welbeck Manchester United legend Gary Neville has praised Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi for his hard-work in Arsenal’s 0-0 draw against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday. Iwobi who made his first league start, was a surprise pick ahead of Chile star Alexis Sanchez who started from the bench while Mesut Ozil was out due to injury. And after an impressive performance, Iwobi was later replaced by Mohamed Elneny with 10 minutes left. The former England international also Hails Danny Welbeck for his tireless efforts in the London derby at Stamford Bridge Neville commends the attitudes of both Iwobi and Welbeck noting that their disciplined performances were an example to both Sanchez and Ozil when they come back into the side. “Arsene Wenger made a difference,” Neville told Sky Sports. “He chose attitude and hard work over talent. Granit Xhaka (L) partnered Aaron Ramsey (R) in Arsenal’s midfield “Iwobi and Welbeck did what Ozil and Sanchez didn’t do at Liverpool. They attached themselves to the two central midfielders. When I saw Xhaka and Ramsey in this team today, I thought they would get bulldozed in midfield, however, Iwobi tucked in, making Chelsea go wide and Welbeck did the same on the other side. Neville added: “When you think about Ray Parlour and the job he did for Arsenal over the years, of course there would have been more talented players than him but he put in the hard work and showed the right attitude. “In big matches at Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson went with Ji-sung Park and Darren Fletcher, why? Because they were the most talented players at the club? No, but because they needed to show discipline and respect for the opposition. “Wenger chose a hard-working attitude over talent. They got into the shape and did the job that we’ve been demanding from them over the last few years. “It’s not difficult and ultimately that video should go to Ozil and Sanchez because they do need to come back in, but if they are not going to do the job required, sit in the stands and let two players with less talent do the job you need to do in a big match. “There’s no excuse for any player not to work back into a defensive position. The only player I saw have that luxury in 20 years was Cristiano Ronaldo and in big matches he was shoved up front. “However, he scored 40 goals a season and United were winning things. That’s when you can get away with it. Sanchez does normally work hard but Ozil now has no excuse not to get back into his position after seeing this game. “What Arsenal did is show some respect at Stamford Bridge and they got the result because of that. I was delighted to see it because we’ve been crying out for it for many, many months.” Source: https://www.completesportsnigeria.com/neville-tasks-sanchez-ozil-learn-diligent-iwobi-welbeck/ 1 Like |
