As ur pregnancy progresses, reduce ur intake of milo or any sugary tea except if u decide to substitute wth honey n Lipton so dt baby wee nt be weighing 10kg n making us to be wawuing on this thread.

Is this even normal?

So recently, dh brought home this 25kg bag of rice called Al-Wabel Premium Rice. I noticed that it has this smell of fresh earth that rain just fell on (that dusty, earthy rainy aroma, oh la la).

And I've seriously been craving that earthy smell... Just last week at the market, one vehicle was just spraying dust with its tyres and everyone had to leave there except me I didn't mind that dust was settling on my dress, I just stayed foolishly inhaling dusty earth.

Back to the matter. The last time I cooked this rice, the smell was so strong after parboiling that I just started eating the half-done rice. I actually felt like drinking the water I used in parboiling but for self control.
But it seems I'm fast loosing it. I don't know how much longer I can cope before I start drinking rice water oo.
All the smell goes off when the rice is fully done, but that parboiling stage is something else o. Please mamas come to my aid before I feed this child in me with rice water!

Any mama used that Al-Wabel rice before? How can I cope abeg?

Na dis kind encouragement I dey always find , hubby dash out my biggest container of Milo and peak milk 2weeks ago cos he's afraid baby might be too b and give tears, he forced me to take Lipton 2wice and I hate myself afterwards....I must show him dis post o,though I secretly buy d sachet Milo and milk cos DAT is d only thing DAT works for me in d morning before I can eat any food.

Team october,hope we're all coping o. For me i can't cope again,i'm beginning to feel depressed somehow. The kain shame wey catch me today no be small,i went for lunch break and the woman that owns the shop made me ashamed of myself. In as much as i feel she's being concerned,i felt embarrased,i must say. Though the last time i went there she told me i'm too heavy, today now she started lamenting to her customers why should i still be coming to work with such load i'm carrying that my office must be very wicked to still be allowing me come to work, she asked everybody to look at my big belle that how can i be carrying this kain load and still be coming to work and while she was still lamenting, one of her customers added that he always see me at the b/stop every evening after close of work....ewoooo,i don die today! seems everybody in her shop knows me, i didn;t know what to say again,i just started laughing sheepishly but sincerely i was ashamed of myself and i promised myself i won't go there for lunch again......Abeg na only me waka come for this kain thing, i don tire. October should do and come o

You need milk oh for calcium, if you decide to skip the milo. Milk is encouraged for pregnant women. If you get a very good perineal guide during labor you might not tear. Even with small baby one can still tear.

The calcium in pre natal vitamins is not enough, one needs to supplement with food that has calcium. That's why you see lots of preggy mums in third trimester complaining of leg, thigh pain/ache etc

I'm spotting for 2hours now. I'll be 12weeks gone by Wednesday and just want to start antenatal tomorrow. I've had miscarriage before, can't go through the emotional trauma again. I was anxious to do scan tomorrow but I'm dreading that my worst fear might be confirmed I've cried my eyes out in fear.

U didn't hear comments from ppl who came to see baby as @ wen u gave birth dt ur lo is big. A 3.5 kg baby @ birth is big. Jst for mothers to be careful especially wen we enter third trimester. Anyways, everybody to their kinda body structure.
