What the church did was the best thing.that someone commits a crime doesn't mean he wouldn't pay for it.You pay for it,seek restitution and you're forgiven. That's one way to check this madness of stealing in churches because Yahweh is a merciful God indeed.

that's because churches are no more about salvation, deliverance, forgiveness and love. it's all about money churches have become big businessess they care about money more than the poor woman who may need help surviving hence the stealling. this is why I don't go to church. they are all sanctimonious hypocrites!

It is easy to preach forgiveness when the crime committed did not happen to us. On Sunday my friend's phone was stolen in church and trust me it was a painful experience. We should not be sentimental in issues like this, if not people will not learn and desist from such bad doings. Even the bible said "no sinner will go unpunished"

That is why i find it so hard to go to church the hypocrisy is on a whole new level. too many churches don't even know who God is. lip worshippers not heart worshippers, collect offering tithe sow seed buy oil etc u go tire.
