Please let's be calm, 2016 application was for Tax officers and Ast Tax Managers not liaison officer whose duty is to create awareness about taxation. This Is the npower tax liasion that wa talked about on this same thread some months ago.the list will soon be out. These would casuals not FIRS staffs

Just heard from my source,which is very strong, gods wiiiling FIRS will recruit that's for 2016 so anybody that thinks otherwise time will tell.the npower are just casuall staffs for public aawarenes ttaken for two years! That's all

The Federal Government must ensure equal distribution of slots to all states in the upcoming 7000 recruitments into the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), a member of the Houses of Representatives has said.

Rep Daniel Reyenieju (PDP, Delta) was reacting to last week’s approval by the Federal Government for the recruitments.

“If the Federal Government can distribute all the slots equally across the 36 states of the federation, Abuja inclusive, it will go a long way in reducing the agitation for restructuring, secession, cries of marginalization and militancy in the Niger Delta,” he said.

The lawmaker urged those responsible for the recruitment to ignore pressures from all quarters and do justice to the process as each state would get 189 slots if distributed equally.

“In the past, the allocation of jobs had been lopsided and this has further generated bad blood nationwide resulting in all the agitations in different parts of the country,” he said.

there's no way firs will employ 7500 liason officers that's npower they will recruit and take long time before they do again! There's a high probability they they will let applicants to apply for 2017 and merge up,but am sure even if it doesn't goes like that,the 2017 recruitment is npower and liason officers and non graduates. I need others with additional information to help me pls.

The staff strength of Firs is not up to 10,000, both senior and junior staff, and you think they will just take 7,500 fresh intake at once? More than half their staff strenght? Am not so sure bro

And pls go and read the news again! Fg have given approval for firs to recruit 7500 graduates and 5000 non graduates and liason officers pls someone should help me and explain furher to those that didn't get this pls.
