Cutoff marks are usually set by candidates performance, IPE cutoff mark might be the highest for Faculty of Technology for this year if the candidates who choose the course do exceptionally well. That's why I prefer candidates prepare well and have high scores so you won't be bordered if you will be admitted or not. For example you can't score 85% and you don't get admitted, ahn ahn what happen now? Because those within the range of 80% and above for your course won't be much except if the questions are exceptionally cheap or something else happened. Usually, the three most competitive course in the Faculty of Technology are EEE, PET and MCE.

You want your naivety to offset your preparation? Why don't you focus on what you want to achieve than belabour yourself with what does not matter and not true.

Just Post-Jamb score over 100 is what determines the cut-off mark, and performance of candidates in his chosen department of study.

Run to ui asap, with your evidence of change of course and all other credentials

I completed my registeration yestday and print the slip too.
On getting to home i discover that i did not choose any fall back institution(even though it's optional) so when i signed in to my account @ u.i portal through my phone,i clicked on fall back inst. Then i choose one fed.college then it says i shul attest to it and i did so and it says the registeration was successful then it leads me to where i would print slip for it buh i didnt print anything because i did it on my phone.
1.pls,the fall back inst. change i made wul it be registered on ui portal even though i didnt do it when i registered first.
2.Hope i have never tamper with my account
3.shul i re-print another slip again

Don't worry, you don't need to reprint anything. You didn't tamper with your details, you only tampered with your mobile data..


Those fallback institutions are just schools affiliated to ui, ui will give you admission after completing a certain program in any of those schools

But I don't have any idea if your new choice will be noted..

Once he has the required at least C's in 5 relevant subjects and scored 200 or above in Jamb, he is qualified to seat for the post-jamb. What he needs right now is optimum preparation to score at least 99/100.

I said 99/100 cause he does not know who he is competing with for space on the admission list. Might be Einstein or Gate And the cut-off will be based on performance of students. For example, in 2014 or 2015, 1 person scored 90 for MBBS while 5 others had 88. Many people expected the cut-off might not be more that 75 but it was pegged at 80.


He should prepare for the best and hope for the worst.
