@ brightingsus. I was the sponsor there was no son mentioned in the application. This was an error from the ukvi. Yeah I do agree her totally monthly income was not good, i didn't realise when filling the form. They said my mom has dependent who she gives money to this is wrong she has no dependent, she earns N200.000 equivalent to £430 so she spend £280 a month she doesn't have any dependent all her children are grownup. Is only her and my dad Yes my account balance had £8,000.00 I included 6 months bank statement showing my income my British passport, sponsorship later and other relevant information. moms had N700,000 in her bank statement was also included If I reapply saying she has no dependent? I'm thinking of reapplying don't know if it will be too soon. Should I leave it for 6 months before applying? Thanks 1 Like |

Tamaize: From the refusal letter, there must be something wrong in what was filled in the online application form. I will suggest that if you have access to application form that was submitted, review the section that has to do with funding of trip, who is funding what, family and dependent details etc. The refernce to dependent could have arise if the applicant entered all her children (grown up) as dependents! Yes you can reapply immediately if you think the ECO made an error and point it out in a cover letter. 1 Like |

Tamaize: Yeah sorry, I was thinking you were male. It might be an error while filling the online application. Take the advice from @Ekpotek. Look at the application form if you have a copy. It could be that your mum's children were mentioned as dependants. There is a part that asked for children that depended on the applicant. If you had done full sponsorship, N700,000 is more than enough a balance for your mum. I did full sponsorship for my mother inlaw who is also 64 years old. She only had N140,000 in her account. She got visa in 3 weeks. This was last month. 3 Likes |

We both were of the impression that she had to earn 18,000 a year and it only increases if I was bringing my own kids along. Could you please clarify? Does she work and earn at least £27,000 a year or have that amount in savings?[/quote] |

Another long time decision that makes me think that if your April location spends more than normal in ukvi its a refusal sign imagine after three months. Their was this guy's case that was decided three weeks after application but was sent a decision mail after three months which was also negative.still observing my wife' and daughter apps still with them since July 17 Tamaize: |

[quote author=Brightingsus post=60626144 Hello Oga Brightingsus can you please help me with this issue. Please august house, My auntie was refused a Uk visa in April because the counselor claims My Uncle in the Uk inviting her couldn't prove enough ties to her to show his motivation for inviting her. Question is How do we prove that? Secondly we now want my younger uncle (locally based) to now sponsor her as he is also well to do (Managing director of a reputable bank) and owns several landed properties. Question 2-How feasible is that? My Auntie works with the Non formal eduactional sector and earns N121996.77 (taken some loans so ends up with N77264.62 monthy now) Question 3.. Does he chance of getting a UK tourist visa if we are to reply look bright and feasible? |

MabraO: Paste the refusal letter here, but cross out your personal details like name and application ref. This is the way we can actually understand the refusal. Telling us a summary of the refusal in your own words can't really say much. |

nanajec: 1. What is the relationship between your older uncle and your aunt ? 2. What docs were used to prove the relationship? 3. What is he purpose of the UK visit? 4 We want to see the refusal letter, remember to cross out delicate details like name and application ref. 5. Your younger cousin sponsoring does not help much. It's not always about the person sponsoring,so they can have billions and applicant might still be refused. Reverting back to your younger uncle might be seen as a desperate move. You need to address the concerns in the refusal, and not seeking alternative avenues to get into the UK. Just to further help you juxtapose, see your uncle as Mr A and your aunt as Mrs B and yourself as a community judge. You being completely neutral with no background knowledge of Mr A or Mrs B and based on the info presented before you (documents submitted to show relationship ties), do you have a strong reason to believe Mr A and Mrs B are related? Also is there a justifiable reason why Mrs B needs to visit Mr A |

Tamaize: Since you have stated that she earns an income, you have to provide documentary evidence eg shop permit, biz reg, statmnt of acct, receipt of purchase/payments etc. even if you reapply for her as you been the sole sponsor. You can reapply anytime but you need to defend her previous refusal as much as possible then your presentations must also be tight. All the best |

IrueBriggs86: The degree certificate is just a proof that your study was undertaken in English. You may need to take an English language test if you do not have a degree. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 12:22pm On Sep 20, 2017 |
MabraO: To be honest, you're not likely to get a visit visa to the UK. Misrepresentation in any form is unacceptable. The Irish embassy shares immigration information with the UK embassy as they operate a common border treaty. This means that you can easily slip into Ireland from the UK without border checks. So the likelihood of Ireland passing your passport data to the UK is very high, especially when you have to disclose the refusal in your UK application form. 3 Likes |

Good evening everyone in the house. I applied for Tier 5 Charity Worker visa and had my Biometrics and Oral interview on August 25, 2017. I once studied in the UK. I submitted the following documents for my application: 1) Appointment Letter containing my certificate of sponsorship number. 2) Marriage Certificate with pictures. 3) Application form and my passport. 4) Sponsor note that was sent to me by my sponsor to indicate change of passport number on the UKVI website which indicated that my previous passport number was mistakenly used to generate the CoS but was corrected on UKVI website by my sponsor and I also wrote it in the additional information page on my application form. But when I collected my package today I find the refusal letter with the following contents in my application. Justwise, Ekpotek, Blessedgeorgeus, Brightingsus and all other gurus in the house please come to my aid because I want to do the review. Justwise, Ekpotek, Brightingsus please respond as I need to send the administrative review. Thanks
