Exactly what I wanted to say....immediately I saw that 9th Sept has been added, my heart beat increased its pace. That anxiety can be killing mehnn.
So does it mean that the result will be out from 12:00am on the 13th day?? Just curious though

Kontagious:

Great success to you too. I can't deny checking the site too even though I know the result won't be accessible.

The date is actually added on the 12th day but of course you can't access your result till the 13th day. If you check today, you'd find 9th there, I wonder why but then, you have people in different time zones.

I think the same still applies...meaning as long as I have the travels in my travel history, I will scan and attach the corresponding visa pages showing markings and stamps.

My risk appetite is very very low...so I prefer to take extra caution.

Goodevening fabulous people. Pls I want to put in for PNP. I studied computer sc but I learnt plumbing before I gained admission into varsity and I've been doing this plumbing as per time work since then alongside with my studies. Now I want to know how my skill will be accessed or the documents I need to provide. Thanks Everyone

Bro, before settling for PNP, I suggest you check your chances of a direct ITA. State ur profile i.e. age, qualification, yrs of work experience (apart from plumbing), marital status, IELTS score. That way, folks here can advise better on way forward.

Secondly, your plumbing skills may be useful after landing Canada but will not get you any points in this application process except you can prove it with a certification that is recognized by Canada. And from my little knowledge, na long thing.

The only other way the plumbing could be useful in this application is if you intend using it as your occupation to prove work experience since it falls under NOC B. That way, you will need to provide a reference letter from your place of work as evidence of employment. This may be dicy though.

I tried to reply your mail but it kept bouncing back.

For my Tbills, I had some money with my office cooperative, which I withdrew and put in T.bills for 182 days at 18%. I used First Bank and I collected my interest upfront. The Tbills was done in July and I got ITA in August and submitted same August.

First Bank prepared my letter in the CIC format and they included my Tbills. I had very little money in my regular account (about N300k).

I then did an LOE explaining the source of the funds and attached my pay slips to demonstrate that the money was deducted from my account monthly. I also attached my statement of account, highlighting where the Cooperative paid the money into my account.

For the Pension funds, I prepared a letter, asking my Pension Administrators (Stanbic IBTC) to write to CIC confirming that I have retirements funds with them which I can assess within 4 months of being out of job. I also requested that they should attach my retirement statement of account of 6 months. They did as I asked without any hesitation. I picked the letter up the next day.

I explained the Pension funds in my LOE and refereed them to the relevant portion of the Pension Funds Regulations.

I hope this helps?

You can send the mail again, let me respond and see if it will make any difference.

jonababa:

Please can you explain your experience with POF esp25% pension and Tbills.

NB: u sent you a maik. Will appreciate if you can reply.

The 25% covered about 20% of my POF.

I don't see any reason why you can't use it really. So long as it's clearly stated that the funds will be available to you within 4 months.

Investfirst:

Congrats. Pls regarding the use of pension as Part of pof, could you pls state what percentage 25% RSA covered. Am about to use same and just want to be sure, the portion am using pension fund to make up is not so much eg having 4m and using pension to make up balance for a family of four?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by yimiton(f): 12:43pm On Sep 21, 2017
Yes, I got a statement and a letter confirming that I will have access to 25% after 4 months.

Nwandy218:
Congrats oo. Abeg how did you use pension for POF ?
Did they give you a statement of acct or sth ? Thanks.

Yes, God is indeed awesome.

We're looking at January and will be landing in Ontario (coldest time in Ontario...I know!). We still have quite a bit to sort out, so we do not want to rush things

Your blog is so informative. I have visited it several times and taking notes like I'm preparing for an exam.

Good day all, I am just about starting my Express entry process after having been following this thread for a while. I must confess that this thread is highly informative. For anyone who graduated from UNILAG,which is the best for ECA? Is it IQAS or WES. Also do I need to go to Unilag or do it online? How much would it cost me? Your response(s) will be appreciated

Biko, I have received an ADR and realised that the ADR is because my husband ticked that he wants to be a designated individual or whatever that means. Now, they asked for me to send a release but i don't even want that at all because it is not necessary. How do i ask them to forget it?

The reference No is just 8 digit and you can also find it at the bottom left corner of your completed application form which would be sent to your email by IQAS.

Nice One Yimiton,
I would (on behalf of people still looking for ITA) want to ask you to request for your GCMS so we can see how CIC commented on the use of 25% pension fund.
This would be a guide to future applicants who would like to use same.

Na beg I dey beg on their behalf o.

Thanks. I just filled the form and included a LOE that it was no longer necessary. I was afraid to remove authorisation as my spouse is also part of the application before they misunderstand and remove him from application. grin

Na worry worry, no mind me. Medicals passed already. Now, i am prepared to wait.
