Thank you, I have check her likely scores, using her School of nursing cert, as 2year diploma course, I got total score of 407. What do you advice we do further. quote author=Kontagious post=60679891] Hello Sir, To start with, IELTS Academic cannot be used for EE. It has to be General Training and a good score is considered to be at the least 8777 (LRWS), anything short of that almost renders the result not suitable. If you meant she'd be completing her MSc in two years (cause you had early mentioned she's currently running her MSc), waiting for her to complete the programme might be a long haul but advantageous as she would have gained more working experience if not up to three years at the moment. Her age at that time will still give maximum points but to me, waiting two years to apply is a very very long time. What you might consider is checking; 1.) What your points will be with you as PA 2.) She the PA with her BSc degree Use this link to check your likely score. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp [/quote] 1 Like |

WES replied on FB and they said they would investigate. I thereafter got the email attached below and the "last updated" date changed again to today's date. The thing is i NEVER got this email the first two times they said they sent the verification to UI. I will confirm with the person assisting me in UI tomorrow and ask him to recheck again. I just wanted to update the house and also to help educate others who may find themselves in a similar circumstance. I will keep everyone updated with the progress...very soon i shall rejoice being free from this one month verification back and forth and enter the EE swimming pool...CRS tool scored 469! @senors @jummolami thank you all...I really appreciate the help. 1 Like

teewhy31: Sorry to be a bother. When you say soft copy, did WES send a copy to your e-mail or is it the electronic report gotten from their site that has the watermark "not official". |

My IELTS score LSWR 8.5,7.5,6.0,8.0. I am so down right now, I can't believe BC messed up my result. If there was any subject i was concerned about was my speaking and not writing. Based on testimonies of some people in the group I have decided to go to their office on Monday to apply for a remark on my writing. 8 Likes |

boldinc:There's nothing binding the use of your IELTS score to immigration. If you opt to not state a reason, whatever it is, it has no bearing on your application. And if you do, it has still no impact on your application. So, there's no "truth" or "nontruth" here. It's not like those who write for immigration are accessed any nicely than those who aren't, at least according to BC. Anyone's reason for writing IELTS isn't exactly the curious need of BC, besides for the purposes of a survey. It has zero impact on your score. So, it should be a complete choice to share or not share this info with BC for whatever reason. And unlike with CIC, there's no "contract" binding candidates to tell any "truth" to BC, so there's really no point in your statement. 6 Likes |

I really marvel at how you just spoke... EVERYONE here's sole purpose for writing IELTS is for Immigration, hence the reason you are even on this thread... But you can prove me otherwise by telling me just ONE other reason you are registering for IELTS (General Training). We all preach 'say the truth as it is' and even talk down on people with regards to this, yet some still wanna manipulate... Hoping BC will not be stingy with scores if they do not mention the real reason they need the results (to boost your scores for CIC). If there's really no impact on your score like you say... Why LIE or CONSIDER it? When registering for ECA, I'm very positive you selected Immigration... No? Anyway... the choice is yours and that was only my opinion. cochtrane: 7 Likes |
