The United Kingdom has denied receiving any request from the Nigerian government to shut down Radio Biafra.

On Wednesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, told State House correspondents that despite all the damage done by the Nnamdi Kanu-owned station, the British government was allowing it to continue to operate.

“Who does not know that the IPOB internal radio is located in London? We know the diplomatic moves we have been taking and approaching the UK, all the damages it (Radio Biafra) has done, but they don’t see it that way, for them (the British government), it is about freedom of expression,” Mohammed said.

However, the British High Commission, in a statement by its Press & Public Affairs Officer, Joe Abuku, said: “The UK is not aware of any representation from the Nigerian government about Radio Biafra.

“Were we to receive any such request, we would of course consider it carefully on the basis of the available evidence, recognising that freedom of speech and expression carries responsibilities.”

Freedom of speech and thought must be respected. You cannot force people to listen to government propaganda alone.

Buhari has been condoning Kanu so they will not call him a dictator at the peril of national security.

Why did it take them so long to take decisive actions since they discover the guy is mentally unstable.

I have watched videos of him saying they will need weapon, they will shed blood, they will kill. Etc.

Unfortunately for you, his mental stability is miles ahead of yours, more than you any one in your village can ever dream of.

Are you telling me a mentally stable person will ask his illiterate followers to kill other tribes?

Stupidity is when you want me to love you after telling the whole world that you won't do anything for me since I didn't vote for you in a democratical election, And more stupidity is when you refused to acknowledge this and thinks that I hated you b'cos of GEJ's lost.

Certain people up there on the payroll are trying to shift the goal post to stability of NK,and I ask, does that answer the question that this 'grandfather' need not tell lies?

A Minister of Information dishing out lies like in an 'owambe' party.
He firstly accused France as the financial HQs,and some said,he never mentioned the Govt of France, and he has been told to bring evidence? Nothing.

He accused Britain, that they cited freedom of expression, hence their refusal. But here again,Britain has denied it.

So I ask for how long are we going to pass through this mockery.
This man will continue until he will involve us in what does not concern us.Continue the stupidity and fallacy here,do not give us International disgrace.

"For every good reason there is to lie, there is a better reason to tell the truth." (Bo Bennett)

Lai,I know your BMC will not tell you this, the way you are going you will crash, your end will be regrettable if you continue on this path.

We survived in the past,we know this will pass.We have seen it before.
