Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Ramj: 2:48pm On Sep 21, 2017 |
kokorita: There is a MEDIF form on Qatar airline website that you need to fill and get signed by your doctor and then send to them at least 7 days before you fly. please check their website for this and confirm required gestation period (you use the qatar medif form once you are over 32weeks) for that medif form and the email to send it to. goobyparks: Above 2 years children get their own seats. Many aorlines give them toys to play with plus plenty of cartoons for them to watch and you might be lucky your toddler sleps through most of the journey. bon chance |

aremso: Yes you can if you feel it would imprpvee your chances. But above all you need too go wwith your correspondence with the hospital and doctor, your detailed buudget and also account statememt that shows available funds for the trip and more bbecause they dont exxpect you to use all your saviings for birthing. Be prepared compposed and confident. Pray too. |

If you can recall the specific questions she was asked and responses provided on prior interviews, it will help you to prepare adequately for a subsequent one. Various people have shared their experience here. There's no hard and fast rule. The VO wants to know you can afford the expedition and you're not trying to abscond ie you have strong ties here. aremso: |

No point applying for a medical visa for a future intention. Apply for visiting visa and let them know you intend to use it for childbirth in future. Don't wait for them to ask you. Also, because you have negative immigration history, would advise you apply alone and get yourself cleared. However, since your child was with you on the earlier trip, you may as well apply together, as I assume that visa was cancelled along with yours. Aprilborn: |

Good day all, I'm looking for hospitals in the Sacramento area of California. All the research I've done, are all on the high side. 15k upward. Is there anyone who has idea of something cheaper or a nearby city to Sacramento with a less expensive package. I would appreciate any help I can get. |

*Long Post Alert* Is time to share my very own Story. I had posted my Visa/POE transcript here. On the 10th of August, I woke up with this energy drive, I never knew it was the baby that was making her way. I asked a Doctor Friend what it is like to be in Labor, her response was like, they no dey tel person, say me sef go know when time reach, I was not feeling any serious pain but I was not too comfortable. I spent more than 4hrs in the Mall that very day, on getting home, I ate hot fufu n soup as if my life dependent on it. I was like let me try and rest after a hectic day only for me 2 have this discomfort feeling, I decided 2 go to the Hospital @ this point even if it was false labor atleast 2 be on the side of caution . I informed my Host which she decided to call Uber for me. I was about to make my way outta the house when I noticed I could not move @ this point. Felt this sharp pain,i screamed and told my Host it looks like the is here, I just laid flat, nex my PRINCESS popped out (I did not push), she came out all by herself right there. It was like a movie. My Host was there 2 grab her otherwise she would have fallen but thank God she was on time.(Did I hear say u Hebrew women kinda delivery yes it was ) D umbilical cord was detached. We made our way 2 the hospital. On reaching the Hospital, the baby n I were admitted, they were all overwhelmed that I had a home delivery without any form of complications or tears (God @ work) I was monitored and certified ok after 24hrs, they had given my Discharge Order 2 go home but I refused because the Contract Agreement stated 2days stay so y wanting 2 discharge me after a day? Afterall no b me say make the baby come the way she did. In all there was no Complications, Mother and baby are doing fine, we just returned back to 9ja on Monday. Some useful tips that will be of help to others especially those who don't have time on their side are;Insist u are given the birth Cert form to fill once u are at ur Recovery room. Call vital records after 3days (3126037790) to find out if the BC is ready for collection, once is ready pick up @Downtown Chicago -Daley Center, 50w Washington St Chicago. 1st copy is $15 while subsequent copies are $4. I got my baby's Passport same day I got the BC, both Offices are in Downtown, imdtly I picked up the BC,i headed Passport Office @ 101W Congress Parkway, 9th Floor. Downtown. It was expedited @ $165 collected it that same day. I was told the SSN is likely going to take 4 to 6weeks. Hearing this information, I decided 2 go 2 their Office @ 77W Jackson Street,Downtown is about a5mins walk from the Passport Office. I filled the form and my baby's Ssn was mailed to me within 6days. Lastly, ensure u send ur application for visa on arrival on time, in my case I did not get any approval, I kept sending remainders until I was left with the option of using an Agent that charged me 10k when I just had a day to leave! if only I had known I won't have suffered myself in the 1st place because I knew the kinda pressure I went tru because of their no response. With this, our Missionary journey came to an end. We are back home. I saw the mighty hands of God. 2 him alone be all the glory. Am so happy I found this thread, most of the information was gotten here. Special thank 2 Nerf, freshdad and to all those that took out time to respond to my questions no matter how awkward it sounded. God bless u all. 51 Likes |

Hello @bootyliciousHon Please when you travelled at 34 weeks with emirate , did you submit the fit to fly at their office days before or while you were checking in ? Thanks Because I called the customer care line and was told they are only bothered with fit to fly if you are traveling at 36 weeks and above . Just wanted to be sure o before they give me another story while checking in |
