Leyqute:

I know you don't have a football sense so let me school you in the shortest possible manner.

Kelechi is a good player. I'm not against his goal per minute ratio and I hope he remain at the top but you need to address facts.

At City Keleboy comes on as a sub and scores, most times when City are ahead and the opponent is defeated already. He had many goals this way and that's what's boosting his goals/game ratio.

Last season K-boy had 20 league appearances and was a sub for 15 of them. He scored 4 goals. Overall K-boy has 12 EPL goals in 49 appearances.

That is not the statistics of a deadly striker. A deadly striker scores at least once in every 3 games he's started in. A deadly striker is a threat to your defenders because he could score any minute. A deadly striker scores a lot of goals.

If you say Kele-boy has a better goal per minute ratio than everybody else, I won't argue with you.

So quit yarning your nonsense. Iheanacho is not in the top 10 when you talk about deadliest strikers in the EPL. A good goal/min ratio doesn't make you a deadly striker.

Last season Harry Kane scored 29 goals from 30 appearances and he came on as a sub just once. In the previous season he scored 25 goals from 38 appearances (all of which he started). That is a deadly striker.

After saying no football sense and saying I am yarning nonsense, your goal per minute ratio talk is just funny. A striker who is likely to score more compared to the chances created is the most deadly.

There was a striker called Solksjaer who used to play for Manchester United. He was not big and powerful. He was also not a regular but he had a brilliant converting stats. His nickname was baby face assassin.

So with your football sense, understand when we talk deadly, killer in football, it is about the killer/finishing instinct.

It is not games and goals scored but conversion rate.

Na thegoodjoe caused all this heated arguments, when we dey tell am sey Guardiola na bad market for Nacho,he no gree,u don see am now.Pls don't karate me.

I disagree with the idea that Pep Guardiola was bad for Iheanacho. He was good for Nacho but a lot of people are trapped in the playing time as the only development means. We are seeing the transformation of Sane taking place without regular playing time. Taking his chance with a brace, coming off the bench. One of the goals a stunner. Followed it up with a start in the league cup game against West Brom. One of the goals a beauty.

There is loads of development behind the scenes. That was what I was interested in. From day one, I pointed that I have no problem with Iheanacho benching. I never did. What I wanted was the tactical and lifestyle training. These are things that can not be learnt on the playing pitch.

TheSuperNerd, do not spend too much time with those guys from the European thread. You were the one who asked about my absence during the Rivers Jubilee and I was among those who welcomed you. So them calling stupid and others and then calling us the same person is just funny.

Sir, in fact I was compiling my own list of top 5 defenders that are available for Nigeria. Believe me I tried to formulate a way of rating these players and I realized the likes of Ehizibue of Zwolle FC, and Kenny Otigba are underrated. Both defenders have clocked lots of minutes professionally and have given good account of themselves, but have hardly had ENOUGH mentions on this thread or elsewhere.

Well let me digress. I've come up with an idea to respond and to engage as regards our arguments starting with the much talked about Tammy Abraham's case that trended yesterday. Many of us will get to see the voice and face behind my moniker. Just a way to make this more fun. And who knows it? We could make our beloved thread even more popular. I will be quoting monikers from on here, and I would even go on to address the likes of Pinnick and Onigbinde.. I will not stop there.. those English fans are about to hear weeeeen.. Transformation of Sane? Sane had been hot and outstanding before he came to the EPL, his last season with schalke 04, he played 33 games and scored 7-8 goals and he was even invited and played for the national team before he signed the dotted lines for Manchester City, I wonder what you are trying to prove here maybe you are trying to say that it was Guardiola that made him know how to play. Anyway, I'm expecting you to say it was pep who transformed Aguero in knowing how to score.

Go and check the goals Sane scored in the last two games and check all his goals in Schalke, you will see the improvement in class.

The Sane in Manchester City today is not a 7-8 goals in 33 games kind of player. He is more lethal and more dangerous than that.

“I’m so so happy with Sergio but I want more, I want more. He can do better. He can do better,” Guardiola said in September (last year)

Now the stats have proved that Guardiola's message is getting through – and that Aguero's work rate is up nearly 20 per cent on last season.

He averaged 7.8 kilometres every match in Manuel Pellegrini's last season, but is currently clocking 9.1 kilometres a game.

Many City fans may not want to hear that – they want Aguero in positions where he does the most damage – in and around the box.

But more stats show that far from taking away from his effectiveness as a goal-getter, Guardiola's system and work ethic have made him even deadlier.

He is averaging 0.89 goals per game, as opposed to 0.80 last season.

But he is also creating 1.22 chances per game, when last season it was 0.90.

He is having more shots, and hitting the target more frequently.

Also significant is the fact he is now hitting an average of 7.89 touches in the opposition box, up from 7.47 last season.

Guardiola believes that Aguero could become a serious Ballon D'Or contender if he can continue to add to his game – and it seems he is getting there.

I think it is matter of how concrete our approach is for them. Maybe Rohr is keeping things low key as he did with Noah Bazee coz there is no way Rohr don't know about those two. Absolutely no chance he doesn't know. He got connections there naa as one who has worked with the German Federation before sef...

hahahaha, calm down na.

Rashford was extremely lucky, the season before his breakthrough, Van Gaal sold Van Persie, Falcao, chicharito, welbeck, Wilson was on loan.

So he only had Rooney and Martial.

Rooney was out due to injury, even William Keane (a white player) that was above him in the pecking order, got injured in one of the cup games leading to our Europa game.

Martial was injured in the warm-up drills minutes before the kickoff. Rashford was next in line to start. Which he did. One can say luck played a huge part in his rise.

Nacho wasn't as lucky as he is.

Not a fan of luck but grace and diligence.

Getting an opportunity is one thing but what you do with it matters. Rashford seized his opportunity like a hungry lion and seized it, the rest is history as we say.
