Please choose EE. The study money can be judiciously used to get over there then you study. Grants and discounts are amongst the perks as a PR. Dont dull wink

I think you can sign on behalf of your spouse having all other factors present.

sleekysilk:

Yes, it's possible to help spouse pick up. Just get him/her to write an authorisation letter and also go with his/her international passport plus your own means of ID. And for the EOR, I don't know how d form looks like but in case there's anywhere meant for the applicant to sign ensure your spouse appends his/her signature before leaving home and don't forget your 15k bank draft as well.

@ encoded4life and other gurus in the house can also help.
Please what type of education did your hubby select for his WES . I also have a BNSc in Nigeria am not sure of the type of education to select in my application. Confuse about the option to choose either Professional higher education or higher education .
Thanks for quick response

not true.

if you get your ETA and have the right CRS score, you should be done in about 8months. however, if you have the cash to spare, you may as well pursue both concurrently.

Try to read up from the beginning of this thread; it will really do you a lot of good.

According to IRCC, "Our processing time for complete Express Entry applications is six months or less for 80% of cases. If your case is complex or if there are missing documents, it may take longer."

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=673&top=29

Despite the above position, there are people here that have gotten PPR within a month or even less.

Yooku:

You most definitely can..However to be honest with you i'm not so sure if the EOR will improve your wife/hubby's results to an appreciable level to get a decent CRS score. What i would advise is to go for the EOR and then let her/him prepare to take the IELTS again and to focus on the Listening and Reading as the results tend to indicate those as an area of challenge. All the best in your application

Thanks so much @yooku, that's what we're planning to do. Appreciate.

As afformentioned, an ee proccess should take an average of six months or less provided all documents are in place. Why dont you try to check up on your crs score first before deciding which route to take? Dont get me wrong, the two ways are great as long as the goal is to get to canada.

Does this include nysc period? If not, get ready to visit your ppa for a reference letter. Points must not waste.

4th Attempt 8.5/6.5/8.5/7.5
I was defeated and broken and began to have doubts about my Canadian aspirations and the possibility that the Canadian dream may not be for everyone(Me). It seemed my prayers were not being answered. This time, I didn't rush to register. I read Kontagious post about his experience with the test. His post relieved some of the disappointment. I read Bigfido's post of success after 7 attempts and I was encouraged not to give in to defeat yet. I consequently  applied and paid for remark(against my better judgement but I was thinking it may be a technical glitch. I mean it's weird right, 6.5 in reading 4 times). About 3 days after the application for remark, I got a call from the test administrator from  BC asking to meet me. I went and he listening to me and explained to me that he assessed my answer sheet and what I was awarded was really my score. He wanted me to make a cautioned choice for the remark.I sighed and withdrew the EOR. I registered again for ielts leaving enough time to practice. All the materials I got from this platform were great.
5th Attempt 8/8.5/8/7

Good morning gurus. What is the way forward for a single guy intending to get married so that CRS score will not be affected. I don't want wife's certificate to be evaluated and no ielts. My CRS score is around 439 now. Please advise me on the way forward.

Get married after you have submitted your application (post AOR), you add her to your application then.

Congrats on ur result.

@bolded, do u have both academic and general results abi u want to just write the one that's pending?

If the above result is general, sister its EE route that's ur decision, if its academic, then its study. One "result" can't serve 2 purposes

From experience share here. Enter the pool with that score..... get your ITA ...... apply for your eAPR.... after AOR, fire up with your marriage and the raise a CSE to add your spouse.
Make sure your wedding or court marriage date is after you AOR.

The best option is to get into the pool get an ITA and post- ITA you can add a family member like a spouse without it affecting your CRS score. But note that you will have to provide submitting documents stating to that effect which must correspond to the fact that you added a family after ITA.
You can read through this information on this website
