TheSuperNerd: I have talked about this unfortunate historical trend in Liverpool. The NNSL (Nigerian National Shipping Line) in its hey day was almost permanently stationed in Liverpool. To the event apart from thier big offices on Water Street, they even had a housing estate of about 12 houses in a close. Nigerian sailors after months at sea would come to Liverpool on fire to Sow thier seeds. As a result Liverpool has arguably the largest % of mixed African origin within the populace of the UK. Of which Nigerian origin makes about 70% of that group. However, a lot of these sailors were absentee Fathers at best and runaway Fathers at worst. Leaving the children in state of identity crisis and emotional abandonment and bitterness. I have taken it up to link quite a few to thier Fathers in Nigeria. Who some of them are very prominent members of society at the highest levels of governance. It took me near 18 months and three trips to Nigeria to link a lady who was 30 and had never seen she was 2. Barkley Dad is an alcoholic unfortunately and the Nigerian input is near zero and his Father's understanding of things Nigerian is sketchy at best. Again it may be that all the times I have seen him his brain has been fried with alcohol. 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: This presumption is academic and statistically led but without substance. It's does not necessarily transfer directly to the tag top 4 strikers in the premiership. Because in reality KC if the truth must be told currently will struggle to get into the top 15. That's using statistics to mislead because your deduction is far from the reality. In football your only as good as your last game,a month is a long time in football and a year is HISTORY that's usually forgotten. 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: I did say some time ago that the arrival of Divock Origi was going to stifle the progress of Osimhen. Add to that Liverpool have a clause that he must play 80% if games then you see the Osimhen will have to really step and prove his ability. And that's to get on the bench. |

Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger calls on Alex Iwobi to add goals and assists to become top class Mark Brus for Metro.co.ukFriday 22 Sep 2017 6:33 pm Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Alex Iwobi can become a truly ‘top class’ player if he just adds more end product in terms of goals and assists to his game. Arsene Wenger confirms plans to start contract talks with key duo» The Gunners boss rates Iwobi highly after promoting him from the club’s academy to the first-team in the last couple of seasons, and he’s largely seen his faith rewarded. However, for an attacking player, the Nigeria international may feel he could have done better than his six goals in 64 first-team appearances for the north Londoners. Wenger: Arsenal star can be 'top class' if he adds this one thing to his game Iwobi has shone since rising from Arsenal’s academy (Picture: Getty) Wenger praised Iwobi’s efforts for Arsenal so far, but admits he needs to take that extra step to ensure he fulfils his tremendous potential. ‘I like the fact that he can play in tight areas, that he turns the game forwards, that he’s very mobile,’ Wenger said. ‘We forget sometimes that Alex is still a very young player and that there’s a lot more to come from him. ‘There must be a lot more to come from him because he has more personality in the game now. ‘We expect him to be more efficient in the final third offensively, because you feel there are goals in there and assists too. ‘They have to come out. Add that to the fact that he allows the team to play very well and he will be a top-class player.’ Iwobi has been a popular figure at Arsenal since his breakthrough in the senior side, and will hope to really kick on this season after a year and a half under his belt now as a regular. komekn: As I said, I welcome the competition. Origi can can play wide. If Osimhen hits the right form, he can still make a play. The playing time is not where the development is but behind the scenes. I am more concerned with Osimhen's playing time and he can develop faster studying Origi who I also consider quality. |

Even World class L'Equipe just recently (many hours ago) listed Nacho as no.29 in the Roll call of the finest and best 50 U-21s on the planet despite all these talks of "History" and "Good as your last game" by you. The truth is that Nacho got both the Stats and the Quality. Class is permanent Sir. Nacho is class and Quality yet still growing in the game. Period. Only Six Players of African nations made the L'Equipe roll call... players I rate among the very best youngsters in the world of football and also among the leading Elite young players in African football.... - Franck Kessie (CIV and AC Milan) @no.18 - Amadou Diawara (Guinea and Napoli) @no.24 - Alex Iwobi (Nigeria and Arsenal) @no.25 - Kelechi Iheanacho (Nigeria and Leicester City) @no.29 - Wilfred Ndidi (Nigeria and Leicester City) @no.36 - Andre Onana (Cameroon and Ajax Amsterdam) @no.49 Kelechi is the best young Striker/forward/Attacker on the African Continent right now... according to L'Equipe and also according to UK Telegraph who released theirs few months or several weeks back. #Fact The Quality is there and very huge Sir Komekn... and you know it. komekn: 1 Like |

Watch, observe and learn how the game is played..... Even the Nigerian Media got no clue... Hahahaha... they can only keep guessing and second-guessing and asking questions....... Like I said sometime ago.... Deeper details of that meeting and more likely suggests that England may have long lost out on Tammy even before this latest saga.... But time will receal all.... Lol.. Hail Pinnick... the screwer of England HAVE NFF GIVEN THE BIGGEST CLUE YET THAT ABRAHAM TO NIGERIA IS A DONE DEAL? Recent social media activity by the Nigerian Football Federation suggests that the Chelsea wonderkid could yet be a Super Eagle Have the Nigeria Football Federation just dropped the biggest hint yet that Tammy Abraham is yet to sign up for the Super Eagles? On Friday, the federation’s official @thenff Twitter handle followed Chelsea wonderkid Abraham—who tweets at @tammyabraham —in something of a strange move considering the recent comments from the on-loan Swansea City man. Earlier in the week, NFF President Amaju Pinnick revealed that he’d had a meeting with the hitman in London and told reporters “authoritatively” that Abraham had agreed to play for Nigeria, despite being an England youth international. Pinnick suggested that his relationship with the youngster’s father helped Abraham to make his decision, although the forward appeared to have other ideas. On Thursday, Abraham said that he had informed the English FA that we was still available for the Three Lions, and while that doesn’t rule out the possibility that he could yet represent the Super Eagles, the wonderkid’s later comments appeared to kill any Nigeria spectulation. "Contrary to reports in the media I would like to clarify that I have not agreed to switch my national team allegiance,” Abraham began. "I can confirm I met the President of the NFF after our last game against Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday given he is a friend of my father. "However, any suggestion that I have made a decision to change my international representation is incorrect and wide of the mark." While the situation threatens to damage Abraham’s relationship with Nigeria fans—and certainly leaves Pinnick with egg on his face—could the NFF’s latest social media activity suggest that there’s still hope the former Bristol City starlet could represent Nigeria? Certainly, it appears unlikely that the federation would follow the attacker if they believed he wasn’t interested in representing the West African giants. Jay Jay Okocha tells Tammy Abraham to snub England for Nigeria JAY JAY OKOCHA has told Tammy Abraham: pick Nigeria if you want to play at the World Cup. By Ian Baker Jay Jay Okocha has told Tammy Abraham to snub England for Nigeria The Super Eagles are on the verge of qualification for Russia 2018 but face a tug of war with England for the Swansea striker. And Okocha, who starred in two World Cups and won Olympic gold for Nigeria, believes Abraham, 19, should snub Gareth Southgate. The former Bolton playmaker said: “We would love Tammy to play for Nigeria as we are building a strong young team. “We want the best young players that are available and he is clearly part of that group. “He has to weigh up his options and whether he has a good chance of playing for England, or whether he is better off playing for Nigeria. “The competition for a place in the England team is very tough because there are a lot of good young players now. “For me personally I would say he should play for Nigeria as he would have a better chance of going to the World Cup. “If he is not a good player, he won’t be needed, but the bottom line is that he is a very good footballer.” Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/646975/Jay-Jay-Okocha-Tammy-Abraham-England-Nigeria-Chelsea-Swansea 1 Like |

Good morning house, Contrary to the belief that iheanacho would not come good in liecester city playing system, I think it will help make him a better player. Wev seen iheanacho in a tiki take system and he has excelled at a very young age, what guardiola percieved he lacked like WORK RATE, TEAM WORK this two are the literally what liecester city are all about. In this generation been able to adapt to different playing system is a thing, it would only help iheanacho and his career going forward if he Has insane workrate, good team work, discipline, and vast tactical knowledge. That is what liecester can offer and I think it will benefit his game and give him more personality as a player and most importantly make him a more rounded player. He has the talent and determination so it's really no problem for me because I know he will succeed. 1 Like |

It's not beans to be in the liecester city line up, that means your work rate is higeher than the average epl players... Iheanacho has come and they said he had to take some time off to meet up interms of fitness, it's not asif iheanacho didn't have a pre season with man city but still is not interms in fitness, it's because it's not that easy do you know how long it will take an average player to condition is body to produce hard shifts that liecester players chew every day in training. By liecester playing style you should know their players are extreme work horses. Nigerian people should me more understanding and support our own but that's quite surprisingly the opposite. If people can still come here and insult a player you won caf best young player and literarily the force of the new generation then I don't know why else he can do |

Ahmed Musa Bags Two Assists As Leicester City Beat Chelsea 2-0 In PL2 Ahmed Musa was a surprise inclusion in Leicester City U23s match day squad for their Premier League 2 clash versus Chelsea at Holmes Park (Leicester, Leicestershire) on Friday night. Due to his lack of first team opportunities, the Nigeria international participated in tonight's fixture in a bid to improve his match fitness, and his return to the Foxes first team may be close after impressing against Chelsea U23s. On 25 minutes, Leicester City took the lead through George Thomas, who scored after a brilliant interception and pass from Musa. And the Super Eagle would have doubled the home team's advantage before the midway point of the second half but goalkeeper Bulka produced a fine save to deny the Nigerian. With 16 minutes left on the clock, Musa unselfishly squared the ball to George Thomas, who fired into the top corner to make it 2-0 to Leicester City. The former CSKA Moscow star was substituted in the first minute of stoppage time, while Layton Ndukwu watched proceedings from the bench. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Photo Credit : lcfc.com Source: http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=24733 |

Victor Osimhen Missing Again As Wolfsburg Hold Bayern Munich To 2-2 Draw Highly rated Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen is still waiting for his first appearance of the season in the German Bundesliga after six rounds of games in the 2017/2018 season. 18 year old Osimhen was once again not listed for Wolfsburg as a late goal helped them shock champions Bayern Munich to draw 2-2 in their latest Bundesliga clash. Osimhen who made his debut towards the end of last season for Wolfsburg as they escape the drop via the relegation/promotion play-offs was widely tipped to have a better season than last. However that doesn’t seem to be the case as he is now behind the likes of veteran striker Mario Gomes, Divock Origi and former Arsenal forward Kaylen Hinds in the pecking order at the Bundesliga side. According to reports in Germany coach Andries Jonker is willing to listen to offers for the forward, but insist he will only leave on loan to a team where they are sure he will get game time to aid his development. **Osas Mahawi. mumemma:did Ndidi get an injury on his debut game? I think you are forgetting that factors were not same and players differ. Kelechi is just returning from an injury and two weeks is too short a time to determine his adapting skills. It was this same football that Leicester was playing when Kelechi gave an assist in the game that led to his injury. I do not expect him to be fully fit until next month, for now, it is baby steps. Kelechi is not Ndidi and their healing and adaptation processes should be different Besides, Ndidi came in mid-season, so, his engine was in good condition. Ndidi is not even injury-prone, the guy na rock, e no dey break down |
