Hello house, am a newbie on the thread but I have been reading from the previous thread...great work been done here. Please I need advice on who will be the principal applicant between my husband and I. Lest I forget, we are in the process of getting IELTS and ECA done. Husband's profile: Lawyer with about 6 years experience post Law school, LL.B, 34 years Wife's: civil servant (tourism officer), 28years, MSc in tourism. Runs a travel and tourism biz (tho its a Ltd). I was running the biz full time (the same year) before the civil service job came through (so biz is now part time). 1. Wife seems to be the better applicant but the issues are: I can't seem to find the civil service job in the NOC. 2. If to use the tourism biz to apply (tho it was registered in 2014), what docs will be presented bearing in mind who will write my reference letter, would I attach payslips (u know biz where income isn't fixed, how do I sort this), my CAC documents are complete but what else. Please gurus in the house, help me analyse my concerns to make an informed decision. Sorry for the long write up pls. |

Omoedeki: Your CRS score will earn you ITA in the next draw. Dont waste money and time. Just dive into the pool like that. You can marry after AOR |

balogunsam: UI finally received WES verification mail...WES messed it up, not UI. For those just stepping in, you must receive an email from WES when your status changes to "Verification Request Sent". If you do not receive the email, not likely your school will get any request. Best! 2 Likes |

You deserve everything you are getting and will get in the future. PPR too sure! A lot of people should draw lessons from this experience. I do too! 10 Likes 1 Share |

LAWYERS: My friend, Osemudiamen Ogbemudia has been hinting me on several positives available on www.brief.com.ng He said the online platform eases law practice and enriches lawyers. He also mentioned that the website is constructed to connect lawyers in the several cities in Nigeria. So, this evening, I decided to navigate the web page today and I found that www.brief.com.ng is unique and interesting. Are you a lawyer? I urge you to visit www.brief.com.ng

threadstone: @threadstone, but what if there are years in-between the applicant's NYSC service year(2011 to 2012) and when the applicant started this job with 2years work experience(2015 till date), is it still possible to claim for nysc period in a situation like that? |

Jesuba: Wow! You've inspired a lot of people who are still struggling to pass IELTS test with your story. Thank you for sharing. Those who wrote this IELTS test more than once would understand the emotional stress involved with writing this test over and over just to get one's desired score. Many would give up after writing it once or twice. And truly, it is not easy writing the same exam over and over but the difference between people who make it to the top and those who stay at the bottom is the zeal to succeed despite setbacks. This Canadian journey is truly not for the faint-hearted. Failure hurts a lot but the secret lies in how one get past what has happened and start thinking why it has happened and identify what should be done to prevent it from happening next time. No wonder Robert T. Kiyosaki said “Winners are not afraid of losing but losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success.” This message is for someone who is feeling demoralized: Whether you’ve just had another setback chasing your dreams, been rejected by someone you care about, faced tragedy, or you’re just feeling drained from the ups and downs of this journey we call life, remember that things can turn around in an instant. All you have to do is to keep moving forward, even when it feels like it would be easier to just lay down and give up. I wish you speedy processing time and favour. Once again, congratulations and thank you for sharing your story. 26 Likes 1 Share |

Tamad101: It may boil down to who has the better ielts score. From what you stated, either of you can be PA successfully since you both have Masters/Professional degree. On the surface, your age is an advantage but an insufficient ielts score could negate it. In short, you both shld write ielts and evaluate your LLB and MSc. The outcome will determine who's PA. 1 Like |

Oby2424: Different NOCs don't matter as long as they fall under clasees 0,A or B. Check your job duties and see which combination of jobs gives you up to 3 years bearing in mind the ease/difficulty in obtaining reference letters for the ones chosen. |

Please i need a little clarification about the POF. 1. Is it compulsory to present a six months statement. 2. What if your statement doesn't show your salary been paid For example, your company do not pay your salary into your account. 3.i intend selling a property and fixing the money from now till I'm ready to leave .Which is about 80% of the required POF. And a gift deed of 20% from my parents. Is that sufficient enough? Please I need help cause I should be entering the pool next month and want to be sure I am on track. Thanks |

For me I figured out the visa office processing my application, then I sent them a mail and attached my baby's birth certificate, yours will be marriage certificate then raise a CSE and attach the same document again. It's been advised on this platform that spouse is best added after Application as been submitted then let breez blow am small. Lastly I will advise you submit proof of fund covering the two of you, that was what I did so I was not asked for additional document concerning proof of fund. Best of luck nnekdre: 1 Like |

nnekdre: Q1&2: Bank statement is not even a requirement. People usually add it because their banks don't provide the required bank letter in CIC format. Several applicants have received PPR without a single statement. I guess it just depends on individual circunstances. Q3: You are in order. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
