I was baptized a Catholic and am still a Catholic getting To 50years now I have not seen any other church better than catholic yet ,Anglican good shaa.

I never for once change my church, I was never influence because my parents were there, I made myself search for why I was in the church, and why I should continue going to the Church not minding who is at the alter. I asked God to give me the grace to served him in the church.

What fruit? Isn't it your life that is supposed to yield fruit? When i talk about fruit, i'm referring to the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. These are the true fruit that would make me & you be true disciples of Jesus Christ & take us to heaven. Any other thing is vanity. I hope it wasn't because of material dearth that you decided to leave your former church. Follow Jesus because of who He is & not the ephemeral things (breakthrough, financial prosperity, marriage, worldly success). As peter said to Jesus in john chapter 6 "to whom do we go? You have the word of eternal life", let that be your reason for being a Christian.

I was invited to WINNERS one day while facing a challenge. As the Pastor was preaching Holy Spirit spoke to me, at the same time Pastor said to the congregation go and do whatever Holy Spirit told you to do. Oh boy I did exactly and total solution came to my situation.
( I never heard anything about Holy Spirit before in my Church then, back in the 80s).

What is boring about serving God? As long as the word of God is being preached, it can never be boring. Hearing word of God is like fire burning within 1. It's like a sword or lance piercing 1's heart. Every other thing is an add-on.

My parents gave my sis and I the liberty to pick another church while we were still in secondary school because their service and meeting after used to take all day and we would be exhausted.
So we moved.

I discovered that many youths have abandoned the churches they were born into to other churches (especially modern churches) and in most cases it happens once they enter high institution. Please, tell us why you prefer your current church to the church your parents dedicated you to?
I changed to another church because I became tired of my former church pattern.

I once left the church i was born into when i entered university. I felt my church was boring, its practices unscriptural & something my parents forced on me. When my mom heard, she nearly brought the roof down. She tried to get me to rescind but i remained adamant. Finally, she took the matter to a priest. Instead of him to give me any advice, he just asked if i had a bible & lent me some books about the origin of the doctrines of the catholic church. He advised me that before reading any of those books, i should ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten me & lead me to the fullness of Truth & read them cross referencing them with scripture. He said he couldn't tell me what i should believe but if i had any questions, i should come back to ask him. I did as he instructed & discovered that i was where God wanted me to be. I returned the books to him humble in the realization of what i had learnt. I discovered that there was nothing wrong with my church. I was wrong about her & because i didn't know the value of what i had, i was ready to cast it away. I never had the chance to thank that priest because he just came to my parish temporarily & left shortly. I tried to see if my mom had his contact but she could couldn't get it. Later on, my mom passed on thereby obliterating any chance of me getting to see him again.

I was born into a Muslim family but I converted to Christianity some years ago because I was tired of hitting my head on the ground and raising my yansh up five times a day

I used to be a Baptist church member, but i changed to MFM after a life changing encounter. I started experiencing a positive turnaround in my physical and spiritul life, so i became a permanent member
