It's the fact that they act so cocky in their deceit and delusion and try to paint an image of Confidence to the gullible audience they do crave for and when this is not happening they resort to insults and trying to give people the impression that you are a crazy theist with all manner of low blows.

At those times I just look at them and laugh so hard because they are just putting their obvious insecurities on display just like this Johnydon ode who is so crazy over likes and shares and thinks I bother about those here. Yes, about Hond. He seemed very angry when he was invited to Nairaland to checkout the behaviour of Nairalands Atheists on religious sites. I remember him mailing me to me ask what I thought of all this crap. He would have backed you any day, butterflylion.

Here is a continuation of one of the emails Hond sent me;

Hond had this to say about the Shocking Atheist Annual meeting he attended :
Ogunyemi Adekunle from Abuja, just repeating what the master preached and stressed that religion and superstition will continue to rule Nigeria with all the harmful effects. For people that worship science, do they know how stupid they come across after spending all their time and money to travel so far to this very, very small Atheist meeting.

Sambo Gamba of Bauchi state also was there.

Andrew Nandip from Plateau State who sheepishly testified how Prof. Tunde was able to help him become the full-blown rationalist/atheist that he is today, agreed that Nigerian atheists should take it as a duty to help as many people as possible get free from the shackles of religion.

The only reasonable person in that meeting was Yemisi Ilesanm from the UK, she strongly opposed the clarion call that atheists should work to convince religionists to give up their religion for reason. Defending her argument, she asked if there is any standard to prove that atheistic views are the right or the superior ones and added that being atheist does not interpret as being intelligent or super intelligent. This position resorted into an argument between Ogunyemi Adekunle and Yemisi Ilesanmi.

Hond says, "I Booked into an hotel three days earlier on business and to attend an Atheist meeting in Haribina hotel, Arab Utako, Abuja. I was invited to trash and destroy religion." Something told me that these people are going mad.

Dr. Ogunlana Adeleke was appointed as the president, prof. Tunde Arogundade was appointed as a director, Yemisi Ilesanmi as a director, Ogunyemi Adekunle was appointed as the secretary, Sambo Gamba was appointed as the public relation officer while Adepoju Adeleke was appointed as the account officer. These [unanimously] appointed executive members will run the Nigerian Atheists Organisation for the period of one year (from February 12, 2012 to February 12, 2013) when the organisation would have been ready for a proper election.
Item 4 (overview of the mission statement):

The mission statement was read by Ogunyemi Adekunle; Prof. Tunde Arogundade suggested that the word ‘mission’ be replaced with ‘manifesto’. Yemisi Ilesanmi complained that the mission is too broad and called for it to be cut down to cover only atheists rights; explaining that Nigerian Atheists Organization should have a singular focus of fighting for atheists’ rights in Nigeria rather than all encompassing rights activism.Ogunyemi Adekunle disagreed with this position, pointing it out that; atheistic values go beyond the mere defense of atheists’ liberty….
Item 5 (acknowledgement of goodwill messages):
Dr. Ogunlana Adeleke called in during the meeting to apologize for not being able to be physically present and to affirm his full commitment to Nigerian Atheists Organisation. Mrs. Adekunle Ann also called in to pass her goodwill message.

Ogunyemi Adekunle formally acknowledged the financial and moral support of Dr. Ogunlana Adeleke in organising the meeting. Hotem Dajenid (Honorary Nigerian – from Uganda) who has been a strong moral and practical backbone to this organization from the cradle sent in a awe inspiring message that was read shortly before the end of the meeting.
It was moved by Adepoju Adeleke and seconded by Prof. Tunde Arogundade that the meeting be adjourn to April for a general meeting where all suggestions will be looked into.
The meeting closed at 18:00 p.m.
