we know better. Nobody owes supernerd an apology. In the real world person go curse your mama waka..nothing dey happen. Just because we asked Pietrico to apologize for doing so does not mean some of us should take it too far. We are all adults here. We engaged Pietrico and he showed maturity for accepting that he did wrong by going too far. so let's just move on.
supernerd has every right to open any thread here as long as NL permits. it's a free world. feel free to go there, and come here as well if you want. He too could as well come here if he wishes. If he doesn't, that's his prerogative. No be competition. Competition for popularity on nairaland?! come on now.. we are all above these small pikin things na.

if you like, you can go and apologise to your Nerdie. Why should all of us apologise to him? Did we side Pietrico? Me, did I side Pietrico? Did I not call them out? How many times has anyone apologised for insulting me here talk less the whole thread?

Do4luv, abeg no dey yarn dust for here before me and you start our own. Supernerd went to open a rival thread because his ego was bruised and you expect all of us here including people that are older than him to go abd apologise to him, for what?

AFCON? You mean until the next WAFU? They are the UNDISPUTED Wafu champs. In fact they can keep winning it.

Danielnino00:

Bro kindly ignore the kid.. it's obvious he is looking for attention here.. He is from Ghana after all. we know how they carry our matter on their head everyday... The WAFU cup they won would be celebrated till another AFCON comes..

What is the rationale behind bringing Daniel Akpeyi back? For Ahmed Musa and Elderson Echiejile, I can understand that they are untouchables to Rohr because they have been loyal to national duties in the past even if they play in Malta, Latvia, Serbia, Belarus etc. But for Akpeyi, I still do not know what is fascinating about this guy. I thought Rohr was a no nonsense German who strongly believes in form, discipline and hard work. I think Rohr has been compromised. Akpeyi plays in the South African league and the Zambians would have studied him closely because most of their stars play there. I am disappointed!

I wasn't following most of those discussions/fights because I dey road almost throughout. IMO though, it makes no sense holding it against forumites here for not seemingly defending him when Pietrico went for his mama. It doesn't show he has a tough skin. Or maybe I don't understand what really happened. However, people are brought up in different ways.

Seems Rohr rates Ajiboye higher.
Our problem is winning.

If Rohr can qualify with the invited players, no problem then.

It's a level playing field, they are as well Nigerians, and they deserve a chance to FIGHT for a shirt.

Akpeyi is fit now. He was a MOTM candidate for Chippa in their last two matches. That's the rationale for his recall. Rohr considers him SE's first choice Keeper. Will he start? That's another matter. Let's not make a big deal out of it. As long as Ezenwa or Akepeyi can do the needed for now. I don't expect to see either behind the sticks in Russia. Don't forget, besides Ezenwa and Akpeyi, for now we have the likes of Uzoho, Alampasu and Nwokolor -- none of which are even second choice keepers in their parent club at the moment.

I dont know what and reason behind your first paragraph.

Ebuehi has been in the fold for while now. NFF must have seen potential in him before asking him to join SE

This isnt a debate though but Rohr should have capped him before now

Francis Uzoho --> Deportivo Fabril Segunda Division B Group 1 (Third Tier)
Recent stats --> Between the sticks for Deportivo in their last 3 games which all ended wins. Has only conceded once.

Dele Alampasu --> Feirense LigaNos (First Tier)
Recent stats --> Not listed in their last 3 games -- all loses.

David Nwokolor --> Rijeka (First Tier)
Recent stats --> Have only made the bench twice after 10 league matches. He wasn't listed in their last two matches.

Well i'm just saying just because we go for a foreign-bred does not guarantee that they will provide the solutions we need. Rohr makes the final decisions based on what he sees, not NFF.

I still consider standby players in SE fold, even those that didn't make the cut this time. Let's not forget what we have before us is a must win tie, and only 14 players will play. We can cry all we want when we see the list for Algeria.

My brother, Rohr is not ready to give a look in at Uzoho or Nwokolor even by mistake. Alampasu has never been considered to even start a grade A friendly.

Well i'm just stating the fact that we don't have a good case on our hands if we keep complaining about the goalkeeper selection. It's not like we have solid options. However, I personally will test any of Uzoho, Nwokolor or Alampasu for Algeria. Who says none can be our version of Donnarumma?
