For Ahmed Musa and Elderson Echiejile, I can understand that they are untouchables to Rohr because they have been loyal to national duties in the past even if they play in Malta, Latvia, Serbia, Belarus etc. But for Akpeyi, I still do not know what is fascinating about this guy. I thought Rohr was a no nonsense German who strongly believes in form, discipline and hard work. I think Rohr has been compromised. Akpeyi plays in the South African league and the Zambians would have studied him closely because most of their stars play there. I am disappointed!

My answer has always been, a switch of allegiance does not guarantee you will even be capped immediately sef, talk less of going to Russia.
It's a level playing field, they are as well Nigerians, and they deserve a chance to FIGHT for a shirt.

That's another matter. Let's not make a big deal out of it. As long as Ezenwa or Akepeyi can do the needed for now. I don't expect to see either behind the sticks in Russia. Don't forget, besides Ezenwa and Akpeyi, for now we have the likes of Uzoho, Alampasu and Nwokolor -- none of which are even second choice keepers in their parent club at the moment.
