I think Ajiboye is better than Ezenwa but he is just joining the team so he has to prove himself more. Ezenwa is good but he can be rash sometimes.

Well let's not take anything away from the trio. They have all been with their first teams and will play a big part in the not too distant future. Considering their ages, their careers are going well. We will not lack quality goalkeepers with Qatar 2022 in view.

For now we wait for the return of two solid keepers -- Enyeama and Ikeme. Hopefully they will both be in great form before Russia.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Irrespective of who keeps, let's just nail our qualification against Zambia.. That's what matters now. If Ezenwa could do it against Cameroon then no qualms.

21 Bullets Partake In Zambia First Workout, Foreign Pros Join Up On SundayThe Zambian national team have started their preparations for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Nigeria at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium next weekend.

The Copper Bullets manager Wedson Nyirenda ran the rule over 21 players in the team's first workout held at Nkoloma Stadium on Monday afternoon, with Zesco United players excused because of their upcoming Barclays Cup quarterfinal clash against Kitwe United.

Nyirenda has urged the invited players to be mentally prepared to face the Super Eagles, as the game will be highly psychological.

He told Fazfootball.com : ''This game will be highly psychological, therefore we are working on their mental strength before the match.

''Every player and everyone on our bench know and believe that this time is our time. God can only show you the fish and it up to you to fish it out.

''Looking at the way we worked against Algeria home and away it tells a lot of stories. The boys now know and believe it can be done.

Eyoma Emulates Chelsea Duo Moses & Ugbo, Named In England U17 World Cup RosterTimothy Eyoma is set to become the fourth player of Nigerian descent to feature for England at the Fifa U17 World Cup, with manager Steve Cooper including the Tottenham Hotspur starlet in a 21-player roster for the tournament in India.

Barring injury, Eyoma is set to add to his international caps at this level when the competition begins on October 6, as he was the first-choice right-back at the 2017 European Under-17 Championship, and was an unused substitute in the final against Spain due to injury.

Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses became the first player of Nigerian descent to feature for the Young Lions at the Fifa U17 World Cup when he started as England were held to a 1-1 draw by North Korea on August 18, 2007, and Chelsea product Tom Taiwo also featured during the competition.

The Super Eagle registered his name on the score-sheet in matches against New Zealand and North Korea, and finished the tournament with three goals.

Talented Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo, who has been loaned out to Barnsley this season, recorded three appearances for the Young Lions at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup in Chile.

England will face Chile, Mexico and Iraq in the group stage of the 2017 Fifa U17 World Cup in India, which runs from October 6-28.

Afeez Aremu has been called up to the main Eagles training camp after his displays in the WAFU Cup
Afeez Aremu has told SCORENigeria his call-up to the Super Eagles for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia has made up for the disappointment of losing the WAFU Cup final to Ghana.

Nigeria lost the 2017 WAFU Cup to rivals Ghana on Sunday night in Cape Coast.



Aremu and Akwa United teammate Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, who also featured in the WAFU Cup final, have been named on standby for the October 7 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Uyo.

“I am so excited and proud to be called up to the main Super Eagles,” Aremu told SCORENigeria

“To be part of the main Eagles is another big opportunity in my career.

“This has made up for the disappointment of losing to Ghana in the WAFU Cup final on Sunday.”

Aremu: Rohr told me I will train with Super Eagles

The youngest player on the WAFU Cup squad gave a more graphic account on how after the loss to Ghana he was told inside the dressing room by Eagles coach Gernot Rohr he will train with the Eagles for the Zambia clash.

“I sat down dejected and trying to recount the goals we conceded to Ghana when the coach (Rohr) came up to me and told me I will train with the Eagles in Uyo,” he told SCORENigeria

“It was a big and nice surprise to me because at that time I was only agonising about how we lost the WAFU Cup and also the prize money of $100,000.”

Coming up against them on the wing will be a serious problem because we don't have speedy fullbacks who can cope, so the idea is to make sure the bulk of the game is played in the middle of the pitch were we have our own advantage(s) and this can be achieved easily by playing Iwobi(not that MS isn't a good option but the opponent determines the team for me)

Iwobi is not even good at holding ball, that's the job of Mikel, we need our wingers badly since Zambians don't even play midfield football. You neutralize threat with equal threat, not reducing your fire power.

Our 2 goals against Zambia in the first leg came from the wings I think.
