Gazzuzz please what could be the cause of this on Toyota camry 2007? I think I have seen it very common. Does this mean this model gets gear problems easily? My Toyota camry 2007 showed me no signs, I was coming at night and it stopped accelerating, it was toggling its acceleration until I got to my destination. I checked and nothing was wrong, no oil shortage nothing. on leaving the place back home, it got to the middle of the street and never accelerated again. Now my mechanic has called his gear specialist to check and they are saying I need a replacement. Just like that?? And here is the issue again, telling me to convert to 10pin and that its better bla bla bla. What do you advice? 1 Like |

sisqology: problems with transmission do not happen overnight, it is progressive probably went unnoticed until it failed. Transmission oils do not last forever, it should be replaced at intervals with the right fluid. Presently transmission has failed. I am not a transmission specialist. But if it was my car I will get same type of transmission replace and continue using my car. |

GAZZUZZ: I understand boss. But Kazeem was saying Gear box damaged. Does it mean he is trying to dupe me and we should change the transmission fluid first?? |

ThaSlimKidd: I hate the 07 civic. Personal reasons. The accord 07 is a more expensive car, larger engine size and has more room. |
Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by ThaSlimKidd: 9:16pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
GAZZUZZ:Does the personal reasons have anything to do with the civic being problematic or being too low to the ground? A friend adviced it's a good car to get as I'm still getting comfortable with driving and for a first car , it's mostly problem free n won't give me headaches. the 07 accord popularly called Discussion Continues? is it plagued with the leg pull as lower models? and is it better to maintain than the civic . Sentiments or personal reasons asides ? Thanks once again for the professional insights |

goodieuzo: you contact me, send description of vehicle, send advert link. I charge between 20-40k per vehicle depending on location of vehicle and type of vehicle. I contact seller and go on my own. I inspect and send you a report. I do not dabble into the price of a vehicle. I do not dabble into paper work I advice on mechanical, and electrical integrity of vehicle. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by GAZZUZZ(m): 6:56am On Sep 27, 2017 |
ThaSlimKidd: It depends on the use to which it I being put. That I do not like working on it does not mean others would not mind. The civic has better fuel economy. 1 Like |

Oga mi Gazzuzz. I'm presently confused on which ATF to use for my 2008 Honda accord. The manual says Honda ATF Z1 but I was told Honda has replaced it with ATF DW1. Please recommend |

Hi GAZZUZZ, please can you recommend a hybrid mechanic in Lagos? I drive a Toyota prius and 2 weeks ago I had my brake pads changed. When I went to pick up the car, the brake lights, ABS, and VSC lights came on. I took it back and they couldn't figure out what it was, 2 days after the buzzer came on and has been on. Someone referred me to the Hybrid guy in Agungi but he seems to have a lot on his plate and doesn't pick his calls. I want to sort the car before the situation worsens. |
Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by bigass(f): 9:54am On Sep 28, 2017 |
nnetayo: I am not GAZZUZZ or his side chic but this has nothing to do with hybrid anything the mechanics/kazeem just messed up the sensors on wheels of the car. I always show mechanics the dashboard of my car before they work on it and if any light comes due to their negligence .... They are in soup. |

nnetayo: There is unique procedure for replacing Brakepads on toyota Hybrid vehicles. The brake pads on Hybrids hardly require replacement because the system uses more of regenerative braking to stop the car rather than fractional force. Presently you will have to re-calibrate your brake system using a high end diagnostic equipment. 1 Like 1 Share |

bigass: Many thanks for this. We have tried to do a reset of some sort, but the problem still persists. I actually need a mechanic fixes hybrid cars to have a look. I was referred to someone in Agungi but he has been giving me attitude, he's hardly even picking up my calls . He says his hands are full. |
