Abeg no vex madam. It seems like the mention of TheSuperNerd activates a switch in you that gets you angry. The guy is a friend who has stood up for you a number of times and I don't recollect him using any words that could be generally termed as "insulting" on you in this "saga". He is a great guy and please let's not see his starting a thread as a deliberate attempt to bring this one down. He was always bound to do that as he clearly has a passion for Nigerian football. His enthusiasm is commendable (though I must say some o us who witnessed the birthing of the golden era from 1993-1999, will always apply caution for good reason) and that passion will push him to return here in due course. I also think we shouldn't discourage people from contributing to his thread if they so wish. It is not a competition. Let's move past this please...

@tglobal for this message you typed may the good Lord bless you. Have been following supernerd in a ghost mode during kelechi u17 World Cup era from SSN site some years back, the site crashed before Manu Garba took the U20 to world up. I was hurt I said to myself am going to miss this great guy analysis of football. I was looking for where to read comments because of my passion for football then I discovered nairaland. To my surprise I saw the supernerd here. I was happy, I started following people's comment, am particularly here because the way supernerd analysis and celebrate victory whenever Nigeria win a match. It always sweet my belle.
This safarigirl that is condemning this guy supernerd, was very rude to many grown up men in this forum may be she has changed only God knows that. She throws jabs at people and they throws jabs at her. This supernerd would still keep defending this lady quote the guy that she is a lady this and that they shld not insult her. I said to myself a lady that cannot compose herself still this supernerd still telling those men not throw jabs at her when she was the one that first started it. When many people rejected you because of your rudeness, it's this guy that stood beside you. He also said then he will like to see you in real life that he will let you know when he is in Lagos that was some years back.
Back to what happened recently, supernerd didn't abuse you by saying he didn't give a hoot, so why taking it personal as if you have the guy in mind. You quote anybody that want to make peace to reign, you are putting more fire on top of the matter. Leave those who want to make peace for him to come back to do so. Whether he is at fault or not, let people that want to make peace with both parties do.
i hope you dnt behave like this in real life because if you do they will give you name that is not yours. Am a woman like you, let's make peace even if both parties dnt accept the blame.
Supernerd a great analyst I need you here, I can't wait for that your epistle when SE win Zambia on Oct 7.
I greet all of una for all your great comments here, you always make my day. I love you all.

If you are truly missing him, you can go there. I've even been there a couple times.
Can we focus on the issues at hand here?

Lol... Dr. Chriskels still remembered that feud. when he called me a low life riff raff, I wanted to tell him who I really was but I thought within me "who my introduction go epp". I can remember vividly from his rebuttal that he said I call mickael2 as Dr. Mikael2 and others too but I don't reckon him as such, then I discovered he felt hurt by me not recognizing him as such. I know icon4s to be a geologist, I have followed his moniker for long but he doesn't know and I called him a doctor in one of my interactions with him but he tacitly evaded the title telling me he is not one then but very soon he will be, that's what I call humility and it was one of the things I remembered that I refrained from telling him who I was. Even komekn still keeps his identity(I'm about to unmask him) and we still respect him and other notable monikers here. I have been monitoring safarigirl's post since 2013 where I was privileged to know that she was a law student in uniabuja but she doesn't come here to show it in our faces.

Let's just sweep all what might have happened under the rug and let's move on. Thesupernerd is a great guy, I am sure he has learned some important things from what has happened.

Please don't unmask anybody. It is very unnecessary. The hidden identity adds a much needed mystery to the thread.
Trust me a few people here figured who Komekn is from his first posts on the thread. Put a lid on it.

Good one icon4s.My man u have been in this game since 80s if am right, then u know now much about team evolution which some don't understand.

In a crucial WC match i don't expect people to clamour for new inclusions,we all knew there are certain players who have not been living up to expectations of recent but they have been part of d team and for now they w remain with d team till qualification.

The massive introduction of new players is uncalled for even after qualifications but whether we like it or not some players w break into d team which is normal.

No coach after qualifications w discard his team and started bringing all sorts of players, this is what affected Keshi at 2014 WC,he failed to build on solid foundation of 2013.

I told a moniker here that 75% of present squad w make d team but he said No,so no point of going further arguing coz have been in d game for so long.I can roll out 15 players that w be in Russia except injury occurs.

Truly we have some grey areas to amend before world cup,our CB need to be fortified, thanks Awaziem is showing promises but i don't see Agbo as a class for WC,LB need solid player coz Echiejele is lacking it now,our midfield our unique selling point and it w take a special player to break into d team.

Truly our attack needed to be beef up especially striking role,at least we need a player to compliment Ighalo,Iheanacho upfront, though we are not short of players in this category across Europe.

I don't want to say much on goalkeeping dept, it was just too obvious we lack d class for WC,no thanks to Ikeme health.

FIFA 2018 WCQ: I’m not interested in Zambia mind games – Ighalo ON SEPTEMBER 27, 20173:47 AMIN NEWS, SPORTSCOMMENTS

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo is resisting the temptation of playing mind games ahead of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia October 7 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Odion Ighalo Ighalo, who scored against Cameroon at the same venue is one of the players invited by Gernot Rohr for the crucial tie against the Zambians that have been doing most of the talking. “I’m happy to be called up again because it’s always a great honour to play for my country,” Ighalo told BBC Sport. “We know Zambia is a strong team and they will come with full determination in Uyo, we cannot engage in irrelevant pre-match talking but deliver on the pitch. “I’ve never played at the World Cup and like my other colleagues, we all want to be in Russia, this is like a final for us.” The Super Eagles are top of Group B with 10 points, while Chipolopolo lie second with seven points following a 1-1 draw with Cameroon and home and away triumphs over Algeria.

Olympic Bronze medal winning midfielder, and
former captain of Nigeria’s U-23 team to the Rio
2016 Olympics, Azubuike Okechukwu has been
rated second highest passer of the ball in the
Turkish Super Lig, according to latest statistics
AOIFootball.com gathered that the Nigerian
international, who has had two caps for the
Super Eagles and who currently plays for newly
promoted club Yeni Malatyaspor, has completed
a total of 269 passes with a 90 percent accuracy
after just 5 games in the Turkish Super Lig.
The stats was courtesy of a top European
statistics and scouting set up, Tofe T. Stats.
The former Bayelsa United defensive midfielder
is second to Galatasaray midfielder, Fernando,
who has completed 353 passes this term with 90
percent accuracy also after 5 games in the
league.
Zubby, as he is fondly called among teammates,
was one of the top best passers of the ball last
season in the Turkish Super Lig 2 and was
instrumental to his team’s eventual promotion to
the elite division.

With Agu's horrendous showing in Yaounde and presently in the Turkish league, plus Onazi's inability to give a simple pass both in d league and here in the SE, I don't get why these two still get the nod ahead of Zubby.
I remember Mikel Obi was rated like this sometimes ago in EPL,does anybody reckon with it.

Onazi is far ahead of Azubuike. It was on this thread people are rating Etebo over Mikel until recently they see that d difference is wide.

Azubuike a good player no doubt, watching Olympics d guy was solid but for now he has Agu to contend with not Onazi.

I have said it before and will say it again that if we can raise a team that can top a group comprising of Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia then we have a team that can achieve a lot at the World Cup.

After the qualifiers I don't expect more than 2 or at most 3 changes from the starting line up going into the world cup.

I said it at the beginning of Rohr's campaign that for him to effectively build a TEAM he must have REGULARS both in the team and in the squad.

My stand is you can only introduce a new player if he is better than the one(s) already in the squad.

We can see from the coach interview is not really likely to change most of the players aside the goal keeping area and maybe left back...

Rohr won't change his winning team... Or else them flog his team.. Then he will start taking huge risk..

If you we can observe very well... Any player with huge mistake that leads to goal.. Are always at the bench...

From omeruo to ebuchi to Aweziem...

But If you are still giving 75percent performance in the team... You will surely get his nod to start ahead anybody...
