Safarigirl lolz grin calm down
Hello everyone, been one of those ,that have been following this thread ,from day 1, from first page..

I have Never intended to post anything, but to just read ,and learn from great analyst here.

But the situation of things here is not good, and the thread needs to heal, so as one of elders of the readers crew, we agree that thesupernerd, is one of those, that reading his posts, excites us.., so we are not happy he left.. Buhhhh, opening his own thread is not a bad thing, but the series of thing that happened before it, is very bad

Now , the supernerd, correct guy, I like you, but truth is, you have broken some people heart by leaving, note(not because of opening your own thread),; but by leaving, when they asked you not to.. Not cool, they see you as family..

Now safari, honestly, i think you chased supernerd away, wait for it, don't get pissed yet, not intentionally tho, see ehn, that guy likes you, so it got to him that, that you called him "rude," it showed that you are a good friend by doing that, yes, buh you were probably too honest, and maybe you should HV been more pragmatic about it, the bluntness shocked him, e pain am, as a friend, he didn't expect the bluntness and the harshness I of the statement..

And the end of the day, thanks to all of you who keep educating me'\us on this thread..

Iconz4- father father, and like a father, you can be to honest. , for sentimental peeps like me angry
Thegoodjoe- I like you my guy
Forgiveness- I no knw if I like you
Micheal-I no like you, you always dey vex me grin
Komekn-
Jobie

Safarigirl, right from bba, she has been my pesin wink
just because I said he's rude, he's hurt. If I say everything I want to about him because of this his stupidity, hurt will be the least of his feelings.

He better man the phuck up! Nobody has time to be babying a grown ass nigga, if he had the sense he thinks he does, he would have taken a hiatus like I and forgiveness have done whenever we were attacked, he could be away for a month, hell, I unfollowed this thread after my last episode and since then, I know when to drop a fight.

But, since his sense is not as mature as he thinks, na to leave thread. This small episode and he cowered away like some puss-y, he has no strength of character. He will face worse shiiit in this life, so he better start learning the ropes.

You cannot be throwing subtle jabs at people all the time and expect everyone to leave you, one day, someone will forget his home training and stab you till you can't feel your heart beat. Lucky him, it was the worst person that lost his cool, it could have been Mikael, bigblangston, chriskels or oga forgiveness, but e no get luck.

I can talk about this all day, but it won't change nothing. I'm here wasting MB, the real ogas on this thread have not even bothered with dragging it, but I too like talk.

I will sha not go and be begging a grown man, I was even nice when I said he was rude, many times I was reading his jabs at Piet and I wanted to quote him and tell him to shut up, but who I be?

Safarigirl, it has gotten to the stage where I have to caution you.

Just calm it and not charge up an already bad situation.

I don't know the other lady. It is you I know and so I have to remind you of how we do things here. We don't use those words you have just used above here. It is totally unacceptable no matter how provoking her comments are to you.

I am sure you know there are better ways of addressing someone whose view you find as offensive.
Please my sister relax and get TheSuperNerd case behind you and let's continue to discuss football. Please allow the case to rest and let the natural healing process take its course.

I beg of you.

Thanks for modifying.

This is not about jealousy or pride or ego, i think some folks here are not acting matured enough... A brother left us to go live in isolation and no one seems to feel the negative effect/impact it portrays for everyone here.
Now if SuperNerd leaves, (like he already did), Safari leaves, tbaba leaves too, and everyone else leaves gradually, you know what will happen here? I'll tell you guys! STAGNATION. Yes. This thread will die a natural death just because some folks want to display some ego. Now y'all should man up and mend this broken bridge. Stretch your hand of friendship to your brother and bring him back home.

Rohr already knows the bulk of his team if we qualify, some players will be given the opportunity to prove themselves but we have at least 15 players known.

This supernerd matter is still festering but let's allow it rest painful though it is.
One more thing safarigirl just like Icon4s has said I don't know the other lady(but she doesn't seem to want wahala) but whatever she said you can express your objections, stating what is wrong with her assertions without the expletives. As I understand you are training to be a lawyer. Whether you will practice I don't know but in court varying opinions are trashed out in all civility(that's why clients always wonder how after a torrid time between two opposing lawyers in court, they always remain cordial to each other). If a lawyer addresses the other in disparaging terms in court or even if a lawyer feels he's been talked down he would most often say:my Lord I object to being addressed in such and such a manner. That's an approach I would like you to take. if someone says something to you that you don't like call his or her attention to it and let's hope such a person will have the good sense to adjust to your call. Just for the good of this thread. Abeg

We can all see why most people often decide to keep mum when kasala start because no matter how your intervention goes it would most often lead to more riot. It's really a dicey situation.

I am pained at supernerd taking an exit. But let's move on.

I like the way you are thinking. Keeping the expectation not too high.
This is a young team. we hope for the best in Russia,
but we should not write-off Rohr or the regular starters, should the team not go for in Russia, but stick by them.
I am confident that if we give Rohr even more time we will go very far in Qatar.

Icon4s:

Yeah a good analysis.

Not bringing down the younger ones among us here but the truth is that some of us have been in the game for long and so we really understand how these things work. Experience they say is the best teacher.

Yesterday, humility said I was always defending the coaches and make them look super humans or something. The truth is that is their profession and they have loads of years of experience to back it up. You can't walk into a medical Doctor's office and start disproving his diagnosis, prescription or something.

Following the trend of build up of the national teams in the past I see this current team peaking between 2019 AFCON and 2022 WC. The relatively lack of depth in experience in several department of the team may become an undoing at the critical stages of next year's WC. For eg our own Balogun "omo Dodondawa" is going to the world cup for the first time. With all his heroics here in African, his true test will come when he faces forwards like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Aguero, Sanchez, etc name them. We never knew Eguavoen was our weakest link in that 94 Class until Roberto Baggio exposed him.

I believe so much in this team. The quality is there and thus far the technical crew are maximizing it .

i have no plans to practice. I get vexed easily, so I have no business in a court.

And yes, I use expletives out of my anger, she had no business accusing me falsely, I was brimming with anger when I read someone saying I did not support Supernerd when my first post was to support him. It's Chrismario that told me to correct my friend first, that was what led to me calling him out SOFTLY before oga tossed me aside.

It's the way TheSupernerd basically told me to shove my opinion down the drain that has me so vexed. What is the point of a friend if you can't advise them?

Henceforth, I will never intercede when people are quarreling. Na to mind my business dey like their posts I go dey do

Highly Seconded. It's better to have peace, it's better to resolve this thing once for all. I nominate You, kog45 and tbaba1234 as members of the reconciliation team. Others can have positive input. Both of them erred.

Let me also say this generally it would greatly help if we all have the mind of Seun who owns nairaland who is self effacing and has no sense of entitlement. My thread, my thread, our thread, our thread no be am if it leads us to erecting walls around opinions we feel are sacrosanct. No opinion is unassailable. Again I tell you that views can be disagreed with in a most polite way and maybe even strongly without insults and name calling and put downs. Sometimes we do not have patience with contrary opinions. Not good enough please. I don't enjoy the dark views of Mickael2 but I know we need that healthy dose of scepticism for the sake of balance(fact is I don't like it but I like it). It's not for nothing that he and nerd do clash often(some have erroneously interpreted it as envy). He is the counterpoint to nerd's enthusiastic and positive views. Goodjoe always uses humour to blunt the edge of the axe of criticism and sometimes insults. Komekn is truly a British man, highly cultured and urbane.

I respect an intelligent man but I respect an intelligent heart more.

Wow. How come I wasn't aware of this feud? Please can somebody direct me to the page(s) so I can familiarize myself with what's going on.

Having said that, I cosign with Icon4s that everything must be done to maintain peace in the house. This is my go to thread as well....the thread that keeps me coming to this forum.

All in all, SuperNerd is my boy so I am confident that I can get him to cool his temper. But first thing first, I need to know what happened.

O pari

Icon4s:
Ladies and gentlemen.

I am personally not happy with happenings here.
This is a thread that I always visit to make myself happy and I am sure so does most others here.

It is true this thread was formed by a few number of us but it has grown to what it is today because everybody is always welcomed here.

On the recent feud between TheSuperNerd and Pietorico. Both of them were wrong. And we have exhausted all energies to condemn their actions.

However, I cannot stay in a house that is divided. I don't know Pietorico that much cos he is not much of a regular here but TheSuperNerd I know very well and he is like a son to me.

I suggest we set up a reconciliatory committee.

Elders of the house and every one else I need your take on this.

He is one of our illustrious sons here and not withstanding his short comings we still need him here. He is a great guy.

I need 1,2 or 3 persons to agree with me on this so we settle this issue once and for all.
