SIRmanjar: (Not a Northerner , by the way). 1.Most Fulanis eat a diet low in fat and lipids..ie the cattle herders. (And they don't eat processed foods...all their foods are natural, and sourced from the good African soil and plants.) 2.Most Fulanis also exercise...because looking after their cows means a lot of walking around which is good exercise...sometimes for hours. (Science agrees! : https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/jun/05/best-foot-forward-why-walking-good-for-you) As a result...many Fulanis don't have heart disease, diabetes, or any of those diseases of western lifestyle. 2 Likes |

Its okay to be an: AREWA and speak Hausa ODUDUWA and speak Yoruba But a crime to be BIAFRA and speak Igbo What a country, and yet you dare say Biafrans (Igbos) are not marginalised. The name Biafra was recorded in West African Colonization in 1644 long before Northern and Southern present day Nigeria was almagamated in 1914. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Uzyvicks: My brother.. What saying in a nutshell is this.. You don't visit naming ceremony and when it's time to give presents to the newborn baby, u make gaffes like "Oga..this you baby somehow resembles the Mallam at the gate oh!" ..right in earshot of guests and other well-wishers. It's classless bro. Even if the baby actually bears no resemblance to the couple, the right thing is to drop your present s and compliments and bounce. finish! What you said ..correct assumption or not.. this thread is not the right place or time to utter such. For real. Okay, what if the roles were reversed and you opened a wonderful thread celebrating the highpoints of igbo culture (I'm assuming you're Igbo) and from outta the blues, someone just drops by and says.."nice thread but you know you guys are just a bunch of kidnappers and chest-beaters..." How would you feel? Sometimes ..just be nice and move on. The world is a terrible and depressing place already. No need making it any worse for no good reason whatsoever. Peace bro. Ps... Im not fighting you or making an active attempt at insulting your person. I'm just trying to point out the folly of your ways In the hope that you learn to exercise restraint when it matters. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Take it or leave, the only people that say craps about north have not been there before. It remains the best region in Nigeria. I understand it can be volatile sometimes You know this sweet - bitter kind of taste. Arewa gidan tarbiya, Arewa gidan kowa, Arewa tunbin Giwa. 2 Likes |

Uzyvicks: That is what you are brainwashed to believed. Tell one tribe in Nigeria that is more cool headed than hausas. Igbos recently massacre hausa in Aba and asaba. Hausas were also massacred in Ile-Ife. Generally there is more social vices in d south than in d north. So what are you telling. Gara-gara life style is a southern thing. Tell me d origin of arm robbery, ritual killing, kidnapping and rape? |

The North has really massive potential. Rich cultural heritage and a greater blend of various cultures. Massive landmass with a far more beautiful landscape than the South. Greater natural resources and more mineral resources than the South. Shame their elite decided to hedge their future on grasping for Niger Delta oil. 3 Likes |

Obi1kenobi: We are all being cheated by our elites and it seems they've succeeded in diverting our attention from them to each other. Everything is an ethnic wrestle now when it should be a wrestle between the upper and lower class. A fight they'll inevitably lose as long as we're united. 3 Likes |
