Enyeama also, and MAYBE Ikeme. We will be covered in goal.

realistically, which midfielder do u think Joel obi is going to replace,or u just want to make ur opinion? Ndidi, mikel, onazi, iwobi, etebor, ogu ?

I've already given my reasons as regards maintaining our coverage where is actually broken and offering more in attack.
This way, Onazi has more freedom to express himself the way he should at the same time.
Our midfield is not broken. Victor Moses is the utility player full of energy.

mostob:
Etebo will offer more in midfield apart from being defensive, his energy and workrate will come handy

Ogu or Etebo
Barring no injury to etebo,he would go to d world cup,no sane coach will leave an etebo for Joel obi,cos etebo is a multiplayer,he can play from d wings,as a 10,could also thrive as 8,play 4 also(if a double 4 is been used),heard he also played as a left back sef in his club sometimes back

Versatility is a plus. But Joel Obi's ratings cannot be ignored. What argument do you have for Ogu?

Nigeria/Zambia: FIFA Appoints Bondo to Take Charge of Nigeria, Zambia Showdown

Joshua Bondo, a 39-year old referee from Botswana who has been an international arbiter for the past 10 years, will take charge of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying cracker between Nigeria and Zambia in Uyo next week Saturday.

World football-ruling body FIFA has appointed Bondo alongside his countrymen Oamogetse Godisamang (40, an international assistant referee since year 2010), who will serve as Assistant Referee 1, and Tirelo Mositwane (30, an international referee since 2013), who will serve as Fourth Official. Souru Phatsoane from Lesotho will be the Assistant Referee 2.

Mr. Carlos Manuel Neves Henriques from South Africa will be the Referee Assessor while Sudanese Osama Hassan Ataaelmanan, who was Match Commissioner for the Match-day 4 clash between the Super Eagles and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Yaounde on September 4, will repeat the same role in Uyo on October 7.

Nigeria will seal a sixth FIFA World Cup appearance with the minimum win in Uyo, in a clash that will see the winners of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and the champions of the 2013 edition come face-to-face in a match of huge significance. Kick -off is 5pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Jordan Torunarigha (Hertha) currently has the highest tackles of 4 according to whoscored. Hertha still trail Alhaji Gero's Oestersunds by 1 goal.

For ogu,if Joel obi is fit he might b dropped, but instead of picking an injury prone Joel obi to d world cup,if alhassan Ibrahim can proof d coaching crew beyond doubt, dey would prefer him to joel

Joel Obi very good player but he can disappoint anytime due to injury, apart from that very solid midfielder.

Europa League Update:

Plzn 2-1 Sheva (83 mins played)

Plzn go ahead again after Nwakaeme leveled earlier, 7 minutes after his introduction.
Anthony Nwakaeme's goal was a touch of class. He received a cross from the right flank with his back to goal, only to turn
with a strike that left Plzn goalie sprawling. But Ales Hruska probably should have done better to prevent that.

Ogu or Etebo
so if u r Rohr,u would drop Etebo, after having worked so hard during the qualifiers, and still very much inform, been tasted and trusted, u would drop such a player to a player like joel obi, first injury prone, second, qaulity wise, just average.
then explain the reason why u joel in place of etebo and ogu,is he better than them?

You started a good argument until you used the words "just average".
Now I don't have to reply

I'm not sure I understand you. But don't forget everyone is free to express their opinions. The reason for the English word -- subjective.
Even editors and well renowned football pundits disagree a lot. Don't expect this will not be the case on Nairaland. Have your say and don't get irritated when someone has a different opinion.

Truly i w not take Joel Obi and leave Etebo and d reason is simple,Joel Obi is injury prone but when w talk of class d guy is not average, with his injury history d guy by now he would have forget football but still playing in serial A tells a lot,d guy is good.
