Good day house . I got to find out about this group after submitting my spouse visa. However, I've been following silently and reading all post. I was refused. Below is the refusal letter. Please I need advice on how to go about the next application. My husband is an IT contractor. He earns above the minimum requirements. But as every other IT contractors he pays himself about ££900 monthly from his company account. Which is less than the minimum requirement. Do we print out his company's bank statement alongside his personal bank statement or just his company's bank statements. I submitted everything on the refusal letter except for his company's bank statement and evidence of ongoing employment. Please I need all the gurus in the house to advice me. Thanks

I hope his self assessment + taxation remittances are in order ? Or else he would have other questions to answer with the HMRC..........

In this rejection appendix, they have dropped all the expo to pass the examination nah, wetin remain ?

Simply repackage & include all the requested documentations ...............

You have 2 routes, either appeal or reapply ........... Reapplication -: Shorter route - Appeal -: Expect about a 2 year wait............
Thanks oga lexusgs430. I appreciate your prompt response

Sorry for the late response as I have not been here for weeks. I note you also sent me an email but I don't know how to access it.

Does anyone know how to access emails here?

I have a question, the Home Office stated that your visit visa was not in your identity. Can you explain?

Your situation is more complex as you have aggravating circumstances under 320 (11)

They said they can't see any evidence of me coming into the country at 13 with my dad. I don't know anything about the visa and my dad who could help in this situation has past away.

[quote author=annieboy post=60881384]Applied 29th June non priority
Bio metric 4th july
Got my visa today. Yippee.

Thanks to God.

I was required to leave the UK few months back. I opt for voluntary exit. Applied for a spouse visa. Got it in 12 weeks.
This can only be God.
Tried to use a lawyer but i changed my mind because all the while i used them in the UK, it never worked.
I opt for absolute dependency on God and it paid.
Advice
Be honest with your application however meet the requirements
Then trust God you will never be denied.
All the best.

Annieboy,

You might meet the financial requirements, but the issue is your chequered immigration history in the UK.

They would eventually issue the visa, but you need to put in some leg work.

They decided right to family life cannot be denied, so they need to look inwards.......

Please wat do u mean by leg work. Have decided am doing the all by myself now

Good evening good people question concerning pictures in my phone can I print on an A4 paper or I must print on a photo card like the photographer does which one is advisable. I have many pics of my wife and I to print
Must I tag each picture and the date it is taken. can I use a paper clip pasted on the picture for a shot description or is just not necessary

Why not use freeprints app? No point tagging...... Just don't send 100 pictures (both of you putting on the same clothes and same location)........

Hello house.

I have decided to reapply myself and let lawyer face the appeal process.

For the reapllying i will need help of the gurus in the house regarding laws and how-to go about it. I was refused for the following reasons.

Home office can't find when I can I entered the UK ( came with my dad at the age of 13, as a child I didn't know what sort visa I was on) my dad has died so this another obstacle for me to know what sort of visa I came in with.

Aggregating circumstances section 320(11)

Not reporting sir 2 weeks. This was due to the fact that I was advice by my old lawyer to wait till he get a response from the home office before reporting to ensure I won't be held down at the reporting centre. After they got back I resume reporting till I decided to return to Nigeria.

Frivolous application. Was due to bad advise by lawyer again after their own pocket.

This time around I want to do all my self and leave stone untouched.

Please i need you help. .

Congratulations! I've been looking through this forum generally as a means of reassuarance since I sent in my application for a UK Spousal Visa. I had meticulously got all the documents in order but was so paranoid and nervous cos of all the stories I read in the guardian Uk about crazy Home Office decisions. I am pleased to announce that today my passport was returned to me with my visa stamped and a letter with details of my Biometric Residence permit. I had hoped that my extensive positive UK history would work in my favour and we thank God it did. Below is a timeline of my application.

(Priority)
Biometrics July 19th
Sent documents July 27th
Documents delivered to Sheffield August 1st
Email acknowledgement from Sheffield August 7th
TLS email with passport ready October 3rd
Passport dispatched October 3rd
Passport received with visa October 5th

Tbh i am unsure if the Priority thing is worth it, the whole process took 10 weeks, with priority. So just 2 weeks shy of the 12 week limit. I did however notice recently on the website, there is an extra column in the time limit which now reads a maximum time of 90 working days - so i don't know maybe it might be worth it afterall.

The advice I would give to others currently applying, read the policy guidance for everything and read how decisions are made on visas, it really pays. Think like an Entry Clearance Officer and make sure everything they ask for is included and then some! I wish you all the best xx

ooooyes:
Nairalanders please you all should help me to thank Jehovah God the most high for his faithfulness and mercy. I got my spousal visa today!!! My joy knows no bound. I want to thank all the wonderful people in the house who have helped keep the forum alive, giving practical advice and direction. May God bless you all. I've always said it that you can never go wrong when you follow all the great advice coming from this house and backing it up with prayer. Thank you all once again.

Please my timeline.
Spousal visa (non priority) wife

8th June........ submitted my biometric
19th June....... Hubby sent supporting documents
28th June....... acknowledgment email from Sheffield
8th September........ decision made email from TLS
passport sent by courier the same day. Been that it was a weekend I got the passport on Monday 11th September and behold my visa was granted.

My advice to all about to apply, take your time to read this tread from the very beginning and make note. It is a time we'll spent

Personally, I would advice using legal representation. Not just any lawyer, a proper tested and trusted immigration lawyer.

Please is anyone still using the tls tracker? My husband submitted his biometrics 17th August but it doesn't seem to have changed status to received by ukvi.

That will not solve his problem until they figure out how and when he entered the UK.

Only you hold the key to solving this problem.

At the age of 13 you came to the UK with a passport and visa on it, so where is the passport now? If the passport is lost then your name and DOB used in the passport should be enough to figure out how and when you came to the UK because at the airport that was captured and recorded.

Yes your daddy died but your name, DOB and picture did not die with him, this could be one the reasons why Homeoffice is not buying your story.

It seems the system is been updated/upgraded or having technical issues...

In the interim, pay the money into my skye bank account, I would invest it wisely with MMM (we split the interest)....
