Joel Obi - I definitely hope so

Enyeama - Only if he finds a club ASAP. Rohr ain't ready to take clubless players to the World Cup

Ikeme - I definitely pray and hope that he fully recovers very soon. And by the way, if I knew him personally, I would've advised him to get a second and even a third opinion on that diagnoses. A few people I know were given wrong diagnoses by their NBA and NFL doctors .... if not for second opinions, these guys would not be playing today. And I actually heard that stuffs like that are very common but the doctors like to protect each other.

O pari

Let me ask you an honest question. Would you choose Ezenwa from IU Fc over a clubless Enyeama?

Versatility is a plus. But Joel Obi's ratings cannot be ignored. What argument do you have for Ogu?

ogu has been in the team for some time now,he understood how the team plays,he can easily replace any of the midfielder depending on the formation without any any problem,he is also a better passer of the ball than joel obi,his size is also a plus .

Most players want to go to the EPL not because of the quality of football but because of the exposure and MONEY.
komekn:

I agree with you the operative word being pretty well.

You probably know that for most players irrespective of nationality, the destination of choice if they can make it, the EPL.

I really expect to see much more Nigerian origin players in the EPL in the coming years.

The bar for the EPL clubs is really they expect to win it be in the final or barest minimum quarter finals. So anything less is doing badly.

The club's to beat still for me are Real, Barca and Juventus.

For clubs in Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Holland getting past group stage is a win, that's the level of expectation. Which essentially reflects what level they are on in football terms.

Truly i w not take Joel Obi and leave Etebo and d reason is simple,Joel Obi is injury prone but when w talk of class d guy is not average, with his injury history d guy by now would have forget football but still playing in serial A tells a lot,d guy is good.
i'm not saying is not a good player,he is good but not near world class, average in this context doesn't mean he is a bad player.
if he is going to displace anybody in our midfield,he has to be excellent or world class, cos players he will compete with are near world class,IWOBI,NDIDI,MIKEL who is world class

The way Zambian fans have invaded Super eagles Fbook page and every Nigerian football sites is giving me sleepless night...I have even entered an agreement with a Zambian to renounce my citizenship if Nigeria loses and he also agreed to do same if we beat them. The screenshot of our conversation on FB is what we intend to use against eachother. Please let's pray for our Darling Super Eagles to win, I love Nigeria and can't afford to renounce citizenship now. If I do, where do I go?

Obi,to b honest,i have not watched him play recently because he is always injured, but i have watched him several times in the past,i've watched him in nigeria's colours,so i know him. we will not hoping on that type of player if we want to win anything,or win any serious match
the earlier we start grooming KELECHI NWAKALI to take over from Mikel the better for us

This guy's commitment to the SE is worth emulating for the younger ones.

IGHALO TO HIT NIGERIA FOR ZAMBIA CLASH ON FRIDAY

The striker has hinted that he will be arriving for the Eagles tie with the Chipolopolo on Friday after reuniting with his family in London
Changchun Yatai striker, Odion ighalo will arrive Nigeria on Friday ahead of the preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles and Zambia.
Ighalo last featured for his Chinese Super League side on Sunday in their goalless draw with Hebei CFFC and with no further league game until after the international break, the former Udinese striker will hit the country early.

“I am in London to visit my family. I will be in Nigeria on Friday. I won’t make much comment on the game for now but will rather let that be answered on the pitch on matchday if I am picked. My family is first in all that I do and it is the reason I deemed it fit to go and see them,” Ighalo told Goal .

“It has been a good World Cup qualifying campaign for us and I believe we should have the steel with which to wrap it up on October 7 against the Zambians. They will come with a strategy to defeat us but I believe we can counter whatever they are going to come with.
“Even though we have beaten them before, before their fans, it has not decided the anything yet ahead of their visit to Uyo,” he added.

Well i don't know what you mean by average but minus his injury d guy is good, not easy playing at top level despite his injury crisis.

Hope u know what absence of Mikel always cause in our midfield despite d presence of Ndidi, Onazi,Iwobi,Etebo, don't let us going into that not to derail our discussion.

I'm not making case for Joel coz have made it cleared due to his injury issue I w not dropped any of our present midfielder for him

I agree the EPL seems to be the apex based on the competitiveness and it being highly commercial. But wanting our young players to go there prematurely is not good for their development.
