Reminds me of one of my GCE exams of those days when I was almost tempted to "spy" the lady sitting next to me. She was beautiful, wearing glasses (to me that is usually a sign of intelligence, even till date), and writing plenty stuff so I imagined she knew what she was doing.
However, by divine intervention I was able to recollect the answer to the question and I started writing fast. Only to have this lady tear up her sheet, demand for a new sheet and start copying my answer word for word. She even told me to shift my hand away so she can see more clearly!
Moral of the story: If only you can step back, think for a moment and be original, the people you envy will become the ones copying you!

This your divine intervention was actually a bomb (expo) from your escort standing outside. Because for you to have waited and watch another person who was writing plenty stuffs means you didn't know what to write until your vuys outside threw in the bomb and the girl had no other option than copy from you because the answers came from a specialist outside. GCE things lol.

Nigerians don't buy music naww. Hw many albums has WizKid bought?

It's sad and shameful that everybody thinks they of intellectual property is not theft.

LMAO please I don't listen to either of them, the only African artiste I actually love is Nasty C and I am super proud of Wizkid for putting Nigeria on the map. You totally missed my point, I'm not saying Wizkid helped Davido to blow or vice versa, I was trying to let y'all know that it doesn't matter who goes international first, the fact that you started something before another person doesn't mean you'll be better than the person forever, it's possible for someone who started late to surpass someone who started earlier so it's too early to laugh at Davido, let's give them some time. Hope you get it??

You're absolutely right now. Well said, thumbs up.

Obviously, the glasses she was putting on was ORIGINALLY intended for photocopying and not a sign of intelligence .

Who did Wizkid steal his Caribbean style from? Is Wizkid Caribbean?
he stole it from d early rise of the jamacian dancehall and singbird artist, popcaan. wizkid did his own cover of popcaan's "only man she want" hit track btw 2010-11. but dz popcaan hardly sing long and changing choruses anymore, jst pure and hardcore dancehall raegge with his rebranded pattern now. wizkid from there, influenced dz pattern a bit and then pally it well with our own gbedu to establish himslf as a commercial viable artist with his own pleasant appealing voice. we all know wizkid's got d appealing singing voice from the start.

many of these American musicians like to use Nigerian sounds and styles without acknowledging them. has anybody heard "The Server" by E-40? where he sampled a very old traditional song that goes like this : wereh wereh nina n jo o o. same with Twista's love-vendor like me where his instrumentalists were playing a Yoruba drum we call gangan. Alicia Keys and Nas Warrior song where they sampled Fela's "Teacher Oya", and may more. I hear them all the time and they don't acknowledge us. Mainstream guys like Jayz would never say such, only Underground rappers like Joe Budden can. even Jayz and many of them wouldn't acknowledge Fela publicly and yet they bite his styles

True that....although some are quite vocal about it nowadays, J.cole for example, kendrick also sampled one of fela's song, can't really remember the song write now....
