libertyhope2017: What makes Abaribe brilliant ? OP how do you Igbo define brilliant ? A man that lacks the intelligence to galvanize his own people nor rally support for the success of his cause among other ethnic tribes in Nigeria. How is that brilliant ? Southern politicians, the trio of the SS SE & SW should desist from the foolery or telling us the Hausa are Abokis and learn how they are able to speak & make critical decisions in unionism. Abiola was able to do it before he died, Jonathan found a way around it the same goes for Obasanjo. Any politician that is not able to bridge the gap is a fool so Abaribe should grow his brain to accomplish that and not act like moronic Ipob that put the cart before the horse. Once the support his there the generality of the masses will queue behind Abaribe's dream. It should not be the other way round where commoner suffer our head to build alliances to enthrone selfish politicians without them learning the basiscs of alliances. Democracy does not work in such manner at least the way I know it. 9 Likes 1 Share |

GavelSlam:In Nigeria, Deputy Governors are underdogs. I can bet you do not know the name of your state deputy governor because he doesn't wield any influence in the politics of your state. He was not the speaker of the state house but a deputy governor who was at the mercy of his governor. All he needed to retain his seat was to remain dumb and worship OUK and his mother (which was pervasive among Abia politicians at the time) but being who he is, Enyi Abia, he bolted out of the suffocating influence. For the umpteenth time, he was not impeached! Except you need to be schooled on the implications of impeachment to one's political career. 2 Likes |

obyrich: I know you saw impeachment in quotes. Which implies we might agree to disagree on whether this was the true case. The state house thought so at the time. Abaribe was not accepted by even his own catchment, constituency, business area, whatever term we think best. Your interpretation of what you think transpired even if true, is your own opinion on it. The facts are there, his presence brought rancour and division to the House. In his own state for that matter. |
