Please I need advice on this. I submitted a request for a reference letter to the HR in my organization through my director and he returned it, telling me to state where the letter would be addressed to and for what purpose I needed one. The problem is, I dont intend to reveal my intention to obtain a Canadian PR. Is there anyway around this? For instance, can I state that I intend to apply for a Canadian visa and as such have them address it to the Deputy High Commission in Lagos? But then will IRCC have a problem seeing the reference letter addressed to the High Commission? Please advice thank you! |

Seyitorl: 1. Calculate ur CRS points with u as the principal, with spouse OND/HND evaluation but without spouse IELTS. If you're okay with your points, fine. 2. If your points are not okay enough, its either u try further to appease your spouse to do IELTS or you simply tell him you will fill him as an un-accompanying spouse and if he agrees to it, fine as well. Like I told mine when he was forming busy at work that no time to write IELTS, I said no problem, I cannot come and select married and accompanying and u won't make efforts to support me to beef up my CRS. When he knew I had an option of 'un-accompanying spouse, he quickly found time out of no time for d IELTS. CRS with him but without his IELTS was 419, CRS without him (un accompanying) was 435 CRS with him after IELTS was 433. That was how I chopped ITA last week. In fact all those times when CRS was 434, 435 he was just making jest of me upandan that so if he had 'unaccompanied' me na so I for don chop ITA since. Orisa boo le gbemi; shemi bo shey bami... I need translation please. 10 Likes |

SegunWamiri: You can even prepare in one day, it depends on your English Language Level. Do an assessment of where you are and where you need to be. Analyse your weak areas, for some its writing. Your weak area is what will determine the time-frame, writing for example will require more practice than the rest. Listening too could require frequent practice, in summary there is no 'one size fits all cap' |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Kontagious(m): 5:11pm On Sep 29, 2017 |
Seyitorl:Hi, Truth be told, for two reasons your CRS will be low if your husband does not take the IELTS. 1. You have only BSc and 2. You're a bit advanced in age. You've lost significant points in those two factors then another 20 lost with your spouse not writing IELTS. The system does not really favour BSc alone, your age then coupled with spouse not writing IELTS. As a fact, if your husband is not too far off you in age, he is a much better candidate at being PA because of his two or more certificates. Use the CRS tool to permutate your scores but it will be good if you both write. You'd get to make up points lost in age. 1 Like |
