You are not okay.
Are women lesser beings that they have to wait for you to give them little chance and opportunity? Can you create any woman?

I wonder how some of you men reason.
Wicked and heartless creatures.

Thank God we still have men with conscience. Animals have rights sev...why would anyone wanna infringe on the right of another human being. The person you're taking your time to explain to, if men are treated that way, would he take it?

A capital NO.. But because its women, he probably feels its fine.. Justice should be justice for all irrespective of ones gender, social status or standing.. Same goes for equity, fairness etc in any kind of law for that matter... Any law devoid of these key God-ordained (well this is subject to debate/personal opinion) human values or elements is manipulative, repressive, oppressive and evil.. Me, i am against anything partiality with a great touch of hypocritsy oooo which is what this Saudi law is laced with from head to toe.

do you think it is possible to regulate the mind of people without laws... check that again? Why is a society regarded as lawless and insane? Isn't it because the people fail to follow laws, no discipline and thus resulting to deformed minds. An individual can have a deformed mind but sometimes when he is forced to think about the consequences, he retracts. My point is simply, it is working for them, they are moving forward. Let them be.. do you know in kuwait, their women earn about 5000k USD monthly without doing anything. What's the use of an open society when the citizens are in penury. Africa is yet to discover what will work for them. Until we start being ourselves and regulate what we copy from the western world, we will always be at the lowe end. Besides, the people are not complaining.
nice one, African thinks everything the Western country do is the best, that is y we are not progressing

The wali system is kind of cool. Like having your own personal bodyguard. And you don't get raped like in other countries.

But they need to let women drive, let her go to school, let her hold public office, I beg free the girl child all nations.

So many tribes , cultures and people just love to restrict the girl child. Even Islam does not restrict as much as some men do.

There are so many niqab scientists and achievers. They became our success story because they were given the opportunity to do so.

I've read many books about how women are treated there. .constantly being monitored by men.
One of the most memorable book I read was a book called Princess. . .which was actually written anonymously by a Saudi princess. This lady had over five cars but wasn't allowed to drive any. .she could only get around with her driver and another male to monitor her. .at times if there was no grown male. .her four year old son would be asked to follow her just to monitor her movements.
Their "modesty" is a facade.
-They have consentual anal sex. .a lot. .in fact, the entire middle eastern region do this. .as long as you remain a virgin. .the back-door is put to good use.
-They rape a lot. One of this princess' friend was raped by her brother's three friends when she was 14. Their parents had travelled and her brother decided to host a party with his male friends while they were gone. They drank, smoked, used drugs and played music all night.

When her friend came out of her room to tell her brother to reduce the volume of the hip-hop they were listening to, she had no idea her brother was in the bathroom vomiting his guts out, her brother's friends grabbed her and raped her. Eventually she got pregnant and both her and the boys were arrested. In their defence, her brother's friends said that she had seduced them by coming into the room I'm her nightgown. No matter how she tried to explain, no one believed her. Her brother didn't defend her because doing so would make him have to admit he was elsewhere vomiting the drugs overloaded in his system. . .the three rapists were released and she was sentenced to prison. The author said she would be out in her late 30s. . .she was forced to keep the baby as abortion is not allowed. . .when she fell into labour, her handcuffed wrists were chained to the bed as the 15-year old child pushed out her baby girl. The child was collected from her and she was sent back to prison.

These are just a few of the cases told by the author. .my heart was broken many times in the book. .

I myself have witnessed my aunt's very rich and religious neighbour who travelled to Mecca for pilgrimage. She returned back and when she had her third baby, he was was clearly middle eastern. Unlike most mixed kids who have curly hair, this child had straight Arabian hair, straight nose and light skin. It was basically like she swallowed an Arabian baby and brought him out again. Her husband was furious, and all her pleas for forgiveness didn't work.During the naming ceremony, his face was like stone as he was the object of ridicule by everyone. Eventually they reconciled and even had another kid. .
All these from the the "Holy" land.
Seriouly, religion is fanatism in a different form. And whatever is practised in Saudi Arabia is pure hypocrisy.
Moral of these stories- Saudi Arabia is a 21st century joke.
u lied, if their is any country immorality is low is Arab counties, u thinks their African that copy everything from west, but thank God their are safe from lesbianism, gay naked church and all forms of immorality

If they were moving forward before they wouldnt have been amending the laws now.... If they knew the laws of oppression against women were outrightly right, they wouldnt be trying to amend such laws if it was perfect.. And who told you the people arent complaining or havent been complaining.. Do you know the amount cencorship that goes on in that country.. My point is quite clear.. You dont need to use these extreme loopsided laws to as a means to promote some so-called societal values at the expense of justice, equity and fairness just because they see women as lesser beings that should be controlled like animals.. They over-regulate women while homosexuality spikes up and they score tops in exporting terrorism and human rights violations which includes beheading women in public.. Societal values indeed...
if u don't know every country regulate their laws including western nations u copy all forms of immorality from, Africans always thinks western culture is the best, later their will blame pastor for constant rape

My dear i just downloaded the book and am reading now.my heart is filled with pity.During my days in the north i saw wat a 21st century slave (in form of being a girl ) looks like. Many of them told me so many things about the cruelty and discrimination they face.
one even asked me to smuggle her down to the north.

Its worse than a crime to be born a girl in the middle east.
Who knows wat northern Nigeria could have looked like if not for NYSC

Listen to yourself. I wrote it in my post that there were more events in the book that I couldn't post because of space. . lesbianism is much easier there than Africa since women are expected to be separately together always. .it's the same for gay Arab men as well. .basically they do everything we do but under the radar. .don't ask-dont tell policy. .and as long as they don't get caught, they get away with it. . .if you want to hear the story firsthand download the book I read. .or Google the secret life of Saudi Arabians or even other Arab countries. The amount of sex that happens during pilgrimage period there is alarming. .arab men love foreign women - black or white, it doesn't matter to them . . .and in the end, human nature wins over human nurture. Arab men, just like every other men are flesh and bone.
There are thieves ,pick pockets who don't care they live in a "holy" country. Saudi Arabia is full of prostitutes. .men pay to sleep with women and children all the time. . .basically as long as it's men doing it, the government doesn't care and the usual don't ask- don't tell policy comes in place.

Read about it.
Read the anonymous personal stories of homosexual Arabians and how they live their lives secretly.
Why do you think they go through all that suppression on what to do and what not to do?
Because they know human nature prevails any rule. .humans like sex and will definitely have sex, secretly if they have to and in the end human beings will do what they choose to do.

Even Denmark, Norway and Belgium have more peace than Saudi Arabia. If Saudi Arabia is so holy and perfect. .how come it doesn't make the top 3 most peaceful countries? How come no Arab country for the matter makes that list?

The idea of a holy, perfect city in this imperfect world is a farce. . .and a slap to the face of human rationality. .
