Rainmaker69:Hi. Please What's the tank capacity of the said generator and how's the fuel consumption in specifics i.e how many litres of fuel burns per hour of usage? |
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by Rainmaker69(m): 6:28pm On Sep 30, 2017 |
niyoni:The tank takes about 28 liters. And burns at just under 1 ltr/hr. Once on, it powers 2.5kv inverter, 2 tvs, 2 fridges, 4 fans, a bunch of lights, coupla pcs and general household electronics. The security house is also connected. |

Hello my oga professor them. I greet you all. Please find below a link to an Elepaq 3.8KVA Generator - EC4800CX - Manual Start generator that I'm considering to buy, I need it to power a 1000v iron, 1.5hp pumping machine, not at the same time though. Question is, is the said generator a good buy? https://www./catalog/productspecifications/sku/EL479EL0WBUZ2NAFAMZ/ |

Hello Prof I salute you, I use a sumec firman spg3000 2.5kva gen. I noticed last week that my bulb are flickering, if I put off some load it gets better but you still notice the light flickering. I thought it was the gen wire shaking but it's not. What could be the issue. Usual load 6 enerygy saving bulbs 1 led tv, decoder and home theatre 1 ox fan 2 ceiling fan Stopped using my small deep freezer on it for a while now. |

Kudos to you Sir for the amazing free service you are providing here. I am moving houses and the house I am moving to restricts noisy gens. I currently have a Firman semi silent eco 8990es 8600 starting watts(not silent enough for my requirements) My 3 questions are 1. Is it possible to soundproof my current gen by fabricating a soundproof box (does anyone do this professionally) 2. In your opinion should this gen carry a 1.5hp ac, small freezer, few lights and a 50" TV comfortably 3. If answer to question 1 no then what gen would you recommend that meets my power and sound requirements (petrol or diesel) PS... I have also heard bad things about those smaller silent diesel gens on the market Thanks in advance for your reply and God continue to bless your hustle Sir |
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by enochogaga(m): 7:20am On Oct 05, 2017 |
lighthousearc: my BRODA u can use 5kva petrol gen to power those ur appliances, but u intend of getting diesel sound proof don't get calmer |
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by enochogaga(m): 7:29am On Oct 05, 2017 |
TheGreatest1: 1.ur gen can be fix to noiseless, first I don't really know if the gen noise is not normal, if it is not, then it can by fix by changing ur crank shaft, connecting rod, cam shaft if it as iron, it change to rubber iron, then ur bearings, it depends the type of the noise. but if the noise is OK, then contact me I do build a proof case on gens. 2.yes it will power it well 3.since u know small diesel sound proof it rubbish, then forget about it. 1 Like |
