Wrong only when u use for more than 3days and get worse then you don't see your doctor............................. Why do they write in over the counter drugs after 3days and it persist see your doctor............. Why will stone prescribe a trido-medical prescription for a 8week and is not wrong

Whilst 8 weeks is still a bit young to even use the palm oil and sugar mixture in my opinion, it is at the parent's discretion on the basis that both ingredients are "food" Products, therefore for an older child, there is a level of control and the risks may be lower especially if the source - particularly of oil is a good one.

Even if you are a healthcare professional, It is wrong and very irresponsible to prescribe any meds online, without seeing the patient and it is even stupider for the parent of any baby to take advise from an anonymous moniker on an online forum.

Ampliclox IS NOT an over the counter drug, it is a strong antibiotics that if abused can cause resistance in the patient. no matter the illness,
it is always advised to FINISH the course of antibiotic, even if it doesn't seem to be working for this reason. should the patient have another bacterial infection later on there is the risk that standard antibiotics may no longer work, because they have been taking only 3 days worth, at every cough and cold!

Also bear in mind that many coughs and cold are viral in nature so unless it has been specifically diagnosed as bacterial, antibiotics is not going to do squat!!!

Finally 3 days is a long time in a child's health and things can go bad very quickly so advising someone online on that 3 day rule is also wrong.

If you do this regularly, be careful that you are not inadvertently training your baby not to be able to poo without the use of warm water in the anus!

Doing a poo should be a natural process, if you consistently have to physically aid the system.... that is a problem.
