I Damaged My System Doing A Disk Cleanup. Somebody Help Me. by Tywrites: 6:15am On Aug 30, 2017 |
Hello. I am in dire straits. I did a disk cleanup, ticked and deleted temp files and memory debug files, and now, my system is slower than a 1923 calculator. It doesn't boot on time and when it eventually does, it takes an average of more than 5minutes for a click or button to take effect. All the gurus and experts, pls advise me on what to do. I work solely on this laptop to earn my living. Thanks. |

Alright, I think this is what happened, you have deleted some OS files during the clean up or there is a crack in some of them already. Solution, get the OS installation disc either in a bootable flash or the disc itself. Insert it and go to command prompt through the advanced option. Type in scannow as a command and run it. Will research tell you more |
